You don't have to doodle this, but I wonder how Wukong would react
if Macaque either came to him (or Wukong found him)
Actually, WAIT FOR IT-
wounded in some way.
And I don't mean small time scrapes or cuts, I mean actually he got roughed up in a fight that he almost didn't make it out of- type of wounded. Canon sort of gave us a glimpse of how Wukong might react with this, and Mac wasn't even physically wounded, just physically spent:
But I wanna know your take.
Again, you don't have to doodle it or anything, you can reply with words if you want. I just think we can agree that Wukong would be worried, surely. Maybe try to hide it, but obviously very poorly- I bet.
dyslexia be damned i flipped the whole ah prompt upside down
(don't ask me how i messed up this bad i don't even know myself, it's 2am send help)
welp too late to go back now sorry bout that, still some juicy angst tho!
this is the revenge btw, suffer
cw at the bottom of tags
so uhhhh
joa o(-(
(dw he's fine, just a lil eepy)
to add a little to this, when i did the comic part where wukong cuts of his head, i got to thinking
if i were in macaques shoes and someone i love somehow achieved immortality, and they just start messing around, doing things that would certainly kill a mortal
i would constantly be terrified that one day it just doesn't work.
cuts off their head for a bit and oop, dead
ofc mac wouldn't talk about these feelings and just bury them deep inside until finally one day he doesn't think about it anymore
until this happens, and all the fears of the past boil up again
to answer you actual prompt:
if it was the other way around
i feel like wukong would be a bit more calm in this situation at first..
still extremely worried of course, but i feel like with him, most of that stress would be internal while he manages to stay cool and deal with the situation.
then after everything is save, it starts to hit.
the stress, the anxiety, the realization that he almost lost someone he cared so deeply for again
mans would not be okay
and maybe a bit overprotective over the next few months
