ive been wanting more familial content in the self ship community for a while now and so ive decided to make a blog for it! ill reblog familial imagines and incorrect quotes etc., take confessions, suggestions, submissions, and really anything else! i don't know how far this'll go but im hoping to get at least some reach for my fellow familial shippers out there !!

few ground rules:

  1. no proshippers and more specifically, no one that has incestuous familial ships. you're gross.
  2. please be respectful! don't pick fights with people, don't harass people, etc.
  3. obviously no nsfw content. aside from the fact that nsfw shouldn't really be mixed with familial relationships, this is also for all ages

Familial F/O imagine!!

If you're adopted imagine calling your F/O a familial term for the first time (Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt, etc.)

They pause for a second at what you just called them- and not only that, but at how naturally you called them it. They get a bit teary eyed as they try to answer normally in response.

Maybe you get embarrassed and begin to apologize, but they reassure you they love you and are glad to be called that. They kiss your forehead and maybe you go out and do an activity for the day, and you call them it the rest of the night.

I know Father's Day isn't for months, but I'm going to forget to ask this. Would it be weird to do something Father's Day related for my big brother f/o? My dad is really awful (I don't want to go into details, but he and my stepmom got CPS called on them after they basically told on themselves to my therapist and psychiatrist) and I don't really have dad F/Os because of him. N from Murder Drones (my big brother) and my irl grandpa are the closest I have to a good father figure, so yeah. I really want to, but I feel weird about it, idk

i don't think so! i think it would be very sweet and he would appreciate it a lot.

people celebrate father's day with people they aren't even related to but view as a father figure irl, so i don't think it would be weird to do something for your big brother f/o. you should go for it! he would love to celebrate father's day with you <3

with dean: play music when we have the time (he sings and probably plays guitar and i also play guitar), and also watch movies we both like

with sam: watch historical documentaries, especially on like prehistoric stuff and archaelogical stuff, and also playing board games

with logan: spend time outside in any way, train together, stuff like that

🧬 are you biological family or found family? if you’re found family, how did you meet? what were your first impressions of each other?

dean and sam: kind of both? like, we didn't grow up together and only met when we were all in our 20s or so, but we're half-related with john as our dad. dean's first impression of me was "who tf is this kid and how do they know dad" and my first impression of him was "is this really my brother??". sam's first impression of me was "they remind me of myself at their age damn..." and my first impression of him was "why is he so TALL why couldn't i get those genes"

logan: we're found family, met when i was a kid and alone struggling with mutant powers so he took me in and brought me to xavier's school but still ended up taking on most of the caring for me stuff. his first impression of me was kind of irritated, praying to whatever higher power is listening that someone else will take this damn kid, but also deep down insane guilt for that. i think he kind of saw me as like a way to do something good. my first impression of him was "terrifying" and "dad" immediately at the same time LMAOO like he was so gruff that it was intimidating as hell but i could just Tell he wouldn't dream of hurting me and that i was safe

🐈 what animal do you think your familial f/o would be? what animal would you/your self insert be?

sam: sammy's a moose. courtesy of crowley. maybe also a mellowed out golden retriever?

dean: dean's a squirrel. also courtesy of crowley. but also a german shepherd

logan: okay so like Technically he's a wolverine because that's. you know. his name. But i think he's also like a black bear or something. or some kinda big dog or a wildcat

ugh no i know. that's why i made this blog, because im tired of having to sift through romantic and romantic coded content when i want familial stuff, im glad that this blog is helpful for other people!!

as much as i love my romantic f/os and as much as i love people's romantic ships, there just needs to be more familial content :(( im planning on doing ask games and stuff at some point, maybe make a familial ship template thingy! this goes out to anyone: if you have an imagine or an ask game or a prompt that you wanna send in, please please please do!!! im more than happy to post it :3
