heheh why thank you!! my Tumblr is very much a strange festering Petri dish of ideas.
soooo my unofficial name for them, ship in a bottle, comes from the Bright Eyes song obvs. I interpret it as being about the push and pull of being in a relationship where you're balancing the fantasy of unconditional love with all of the vulnerabilities of being human which get in the way of that (ie troubled pasts, substance problems, etc.....)
It also refers to the fact that their relationship begins and progresses because they see each other every day at the bar, lol. So whatever it is they're building together, it's happening mainly there, and thus puts them in a position where they have to figure out if their feelings are just context specific or if it's something that can exist outside of the bottle. If that makes sense??
I think they both want to be loved and understood, but are more comfortable chasing that idea than building something concrete.....for now........maybe.......lol.
I'm bad at explaining my thoughts so I hope this isn't nonsense.
