daichi is the kind of boyfriend to be ultra responsible and reliable, but never lets you know how he's really feeling

like he's so focused on being your emotional pillar that he forgets its a two way street.

it doesn't matter if work is stressful or he's feeling drained- he doesn't want you to worry about that

.... daichi loves you, he really does, but that's the issue. he loves you too much to burden you with his problems...

which makes it all the more painful when he starts confiding in the pretty barista at the coffee shop. he lets her know about work and bills in a way he's never told you, learns to lean on her in a way he could never do with you.....

cheating mention:

I dont even think daichi realizes he's doing something wrong until he's driving home with the taste of someone else on his lips. he sits in the drive way for a long time, trying to figure out exactly where this all went wrong. he never considered himself a cheater- he cut this girl off before it could progress past a peck on the lips- but guilt sits heavy in his chest as he realizes his affair might have been emotional.

when he finally turns off the engine and wanders inside, it's the first time in a long time he tells you what he's really feeling.
