won't you give me your light? [ft. p.hn]

-> recap : you also can’t help thinking of another universe.. one in which she’d run after you, through the rain. like a scene from the one of those cheesy rom coms you used to watch with her all the time.

GENRE : <3 TW/CW : secret alt vers ending WC : ~ 0.4k XOXO : here yall go + [series m.list]

“yn-!”

what … ?

“yn you dummy- slow down!!”

as you turn around, you find your utterly soaked body suddenly shielded from the assault of the rain by an umbrella.

hanni. she ran after you.

“what is wrong with you – why would you ever think it a good idea to just stroll out in this goddamn rain? huh?”

“i..” you start to defend yourself, “.. just didn’t want you and moka to have to go through this. i’m only one person, i could’ve made my way-”

hanni really doesn’t seem to be listening to you. maybe the echo of the rain pattering on the umbrella is too loud.

she drapes her jacket around you, tugging you closer a tad too harshly. it’s obvious from how she’s acting that she’s pissed.

“..hanni…”

she merely sighs.

“hanni.”

her head falls on your shoulder this time. “why do you have to be such an idiot?”

can’t really answer that one, can you? but you’ll still try to make her hear you out, “listen. i wanted you to have it, i promise. i wasn’t being righteous or noble or whatever.

why did you come out hanni?”

when she replies, her voice is barely more than a whisper. but somehow you still her hear words envelope you completely.

“because ... how could i not? it’s you.

… it’s us.

it’s always us.”

a flashback suddenly reminds you of the “promise” she’d made you swear a grade earlier : that you’ll always be hers. you get it now. that that made her yours just as much.

hanni only looks up after a couple moments of absolutely no response from you.

one single drop trails down your cheek. she kisses it away, softly.

you’re really thankful of how hanni seems to know just what to do without asking any questions.

questions such as why the rain has made its way to you even while under the shelter or the umbrella. so you don’t ask any either.

(like why for god’s sake did she take so long.)

because this is enough.

because it’s the two of you.

you only wrap your arms around her neck and pull her closer. when she returns the embrace, the umbrella drops from her hand.

but neither of you could give a single fuck about that right now.

。𖦹°‧ Coming back to you ᴴᵃⁿⁿⁱ ˣ ᴿᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ

Pairing - Pham Hanni X fem!Reader

Genre - slight angst, fluff

Synopsis - Months after you have followed separate paths, the silence between you is as deafening as the words that have never been said. Both try to move on, but there is something that continues to connect them: absence. As time goes by, memories become more alive, and the lives you try to build without the other begin to unfold in unexpected ways.

Warnings! non idol au!, mention of alcoholism, a certain dependence?, not reviewed W.C.: 1.776

Part 1 | Part 2

Weeks turned into months, but the void left by Hanni didn’t seem to diminish.

You spent your days trying to fill the time, immersing yourself in routines that once seemed insignificant, but were now your only way to maintain your sanity. The support group, the new hobbies, the lonely nights you filled with old movies… Everything was an effort to move on.

But in the silence of the early morning, it was she who filled your mind. Hanni’s smile, the eyes that always seemed to see right through you, and even the way she caught your attention when she knew you were closing yourself off.

You knew you no longer had the right to text, but that didn’t stop your hand from hovering over your phone, your fingers itching to type a simple: “I miss you.”

And on the other side, Hanni wasn’t so different.

Although she had gone back to her routine and kept up appearances, the sound of her name still echoed in the corridors of your mind.

Sometimes, when conversations with her friends lost their meaning or when the silence became too heavy, Hanni found herself looking at her cell phone, going through old messages she never had the courage to delete.

She told herself it was better this way. But on especially lonely nights, Hanni felt the weight of what she had lost, and the longing was like a slow blade.

It was on a rainy afternoon that you found yourself walking aimlessly through the city. The fine drops soaked your jacket while your footsteps echoed on the wet sidewalk.

Everything seemed heavy, but at the same time, there was something comforting in the melancholy of the moment.

Without realizing it, you arrived at the park. The same park where everything began and ended. The memories came like a blow: Hanni on the swing, the way she looked at you when you said something that seemed to break her heart.

You sat on a bench, letting the rain mix with the tears that you didn't even realize were falling.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Hanni was at a café with some friends, but the conversation seemed distant. Something was off, and she knew exactly what it was: you.

“Are you okay?” Danielle asked, interrupting Hanni’s thoughts.

“Yeah, just… I’m distracted.” She replied, forcing a smile.

But when she looked out the window and saw the rain falling, Hanni felt her chest tighten again. The same tightness she felt whenever she thought about you.

A few weeks later, you finally crossed paths again. It wasn’t planned, but it seemed inevitable.

You were leaving a supermarket, holding a bag with fruit and bread, when you saw her. Hanni was on the other side of the street, walking quickly, a backpack slung over her shoulder.

Your heart stopped for a moment. You didn’t know if you called out to her or if you simply pretended not to see her.

But Hanni saw you. And, for a moment, your eyes met.

She hesitated, and you noticed the small, sad smile she gave before turning to continue walking.

Before you could think, you called out to her.

“Hanni!”

She stopped, turning around slowly. Her face was serene, but her eyes gave everything away: longing, hurt, and something else you couldn’t quite identify.

“Hi…” she said softly, as if the word was hard to say.

You hurried across the street, the words tumbling over each other in your mind. “I… I didn’t know I’d see you here.”

“I didn’t expect it either.” She replied, looking down at the ground for a moment.

The silence between you was heavy. It was the kind of silence that only existed between two people who had been everything to each other and were now just… strangers with a shared past.

“Are you okay?” you asked, finally.

Hanni nodded, but there was something in her manner that told you it was an automatic response. “And you?”

“I’m trying,” you answered honestly. “Some days are better than others.”

She looked at you, and for a moment, you thought she was going to say something important. But instead, she just smiled slightly. “I’m happy for you.” she said, before tightening her grip on her backpack and taking a step back. “I… I have to go.”

“Sure.” you answered quickly, feeling the familiar tightness in your chest. When she turned to leave, you stood there, watching as Hanni disappeared into the crowd.

And on the other side, Hanni couldn’t help but look back one last time, her face carrying a mix of longing and regret.

The days that followed were filled with the shadow of that encounter.

To you, the sight of Hanni seemed clearer than anything around you.

The way she looked at you, as if she was holding herself back from saying something else, haunted you.

Hanni, on the other hand, began to question her own choices. She knew she had done the right thing by walking away, but the sight of you trying to change, trying to move on, affected her in a way she couldn't explain.

They both went about their daily lives, pretending that time was healing them the wounds. But at night, when the world went silent, the emptiness left by the other seemed louder than ever.

Hanni thought of you. And you thought of Hanni.

But neither of you found the courage to fill the silence.

It was a cloudy afternoon when you saw her again. This time, it wasn’t by chance. After days of dwelling on the brief encounter at the supermarket, you decided you had to act.

You knew where to find her. A small café near Hanni’s college was the place where she usually studied. And there she was, sitting alone with her headphones on, a notebook open and a pen twirling between her fingers.

Your heart was beating fast as you approached her, hesitant. For a moment, you thought about going back, but then she looked up and your eyes met.

“You.” she said, surprised.

“Hi…” you replied, feeling your voice crack.

She took off her headphones, putting them aside. “What are you doing here?”

“I… wanted to talk to you.” you said, nervous. “If you have time.”

Hanni hesitated, but then closed her notebook and gestured to the seat across from her. “Okay. Tell me.”

You sat down, your hands sweating as you tried to find the right words. “I know we saw each other at the grocery store, and I didn’t say everything I wanted to. But… I needed to see you again.”

“Why?” she asked, her tone cautious.

“Because I wanted to show you that I’ve changed.” you said, taking a deep breath. “That everything you said to me that day in the park, and later at the café… I heard it, Hanni. And I took it to heart.”

She frowned, as if trying to understand where you were going with this.

“I’ve been sober for six months.” you continued, your voice shaking. “It wasn’t easy. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I did it. For me. Because I realized I couldn’t keep living the way I was.”

Hanni was silent, her eyes fixed on yours.

“And part of it was because I realized how much I hurt you,” you added, feeling the tears well up. “I don’t want to use you as an outlet ever again. I want to love you the way you deserve to be loved.”

She looked away for a moment, biting her lip. You didn’t know what to expect, but then she spoke:

“I’m happy for you.” she said softly. “I really am. You’re trying, and that’s… amazing. But I don’t know what that means for us.”

“It means that if you still have feelings for me, I want to try again.” you said, your voice thick with emotion. “But only if you want me to. Because I don’t expect you to trust me right away. I just want a chance to prove that I can be different.”

The silence that followed felt like an eternity, but then Hanni sighed and looked you in the eyes. “I’m not going to lie. I missed you. More than I’d like to admit.” But… I’m scared.”

“Scared of what?” you asked.

“Of getting hurt again.” she admitted. “Of letting myself believe that things will be different and ending up in the same place.”

“I understand.” you answered sincerely. “And I’m not going to ask you to trust me now. I just want to show you, over time, that you don’t need to be scared.”

Hanni looked at you for a moment longer, as if trying to see the truth behind your words. Finally, she gave a small smile.

“Okay…” she said softly. “Let’s see where this goes.”

Your heart skipped a beat, but you held it in. You knew this chance was just the beginning.

In the months that followed, you began to rebuild what you had lost. Hanni was cautious, but little by little, she began to relax around you. You shared laughs and long conversations again, but this time, there was something different: transparency.

You made a point of being present in every moment, not just the bad ones. You would invite Hanni to go for walks, to watch movies, to study. And she, in turn, began to trust you again.

One afternoon, while you were at the park — the same one where so many good and bad memories were made — Hanni held your hand.

“I think for the first time in a long time, I don’t feel afraid.” She said, smiling slightly.

You squeezed her hand, feeling your heart warm. “I promise you’ll never have to feel that way with me again.”

One night, while you were lying on the couch, watching a random movie, Hanni looked at you with a smile that was pure relief.

“You know I’m proud of you, right?” she said, her voice soft.

You smiled, feeling your eyes sting with the tears that were coming. “Thank you for giving me a chance. For believing in me, even after everything.”

Hanni leaned in to kiss your forehead. “I believe in you. I always have. I just needed you to believe in yourself too.”

In that moment, you knew that despite all the hardships, you had found your way back to each other.

And this time, it would be different.

Midnight Flight

//Kang Haerin x Reader//Hogwarts AU//

SYPNOSIS: Y/N L/N had just finished her prefect duties and was finally ready to enjoy a quiet night in her dorm, a book in hand and peace at last. That was until she heard an insistent tapping on her window. To her disbelief, there was her girlfriend, Kang Haerin—on a broom, in the dead of night, throwing pebbles at her window.

TAGS: fluff, Slytherin!Haerin, Ravenclaw!Reader, Harry Potter AU, Short oneshot, Prefect!Reader, fem!reader

WARNINGS: mild language, miscommunication (I think)

WORDCOUNT: 1.2k

A/N : Apologies if this feels rushed, this'll be my last one-shot before school starts </3

Flying around the castle in the dead of night wasn’t exactly the smartest idea.

But when was she ever one to play it safe? The broomstick wobbled as she soared higher, the Ravenclaw tower looming ahead.

Her fingers tightened around the broomstick, the chilly night air biting at her face. She knew the risk she was taking—getting caught would mean detention for weeks, maybe even an owl sent home to her parents. But she had come this far, and there was no way she was backing out now.

None of that mattered, Anyways.

What mattered was y/n.

SYPNOSIS Haerin isn’t the jealous type. At least, that’s what she tells herself—until she starts seeing clips of you and Minji all over the internet.

WORDCOUNT 1.7k

"MINY/N SUPREMACY!!"

"Their chemistry is insane, are we SURE they’re just best friends??"

"Minji and Y/N have been inseparable lately."

Haerin scrolls through the comments under the latest clip of you and Minji’s interactions. The video itself is nothing special, just you laughing at one of Minji’s jokes, leaning into her like it’s second nature. But the fans eat it up.

The video loops again.

Your eyes crinkle when you smile at Minji. She reaches out instinctively when you stumble, her hand lingering just a second too long. And it’s not just one clip, there are dozens of them now. Edits spliced together, set to soft love songs, moments slowed down to exaggerate the way you two look at each other.

You aren’t Minji’s girlfriend.

You’re Haerin’s. Only hers.

YOU GOT ME LOOKING FOR ATTENTION ★ K.HR

Synopsis; your girlfriend normally had a cold and intimidating personality towards most people, but for you she had an absolute soft spot that no one had ever witnessed. Today was one of those rare days where she was clingy and desperately begging for you attention

Warning; fluff, established relationship, attention seeking, Haerin is so in love with YN

Word count; 1.3k

The classroom buzzed with the energy of students preparing for the upcoming project deadline, each absorbed in their discussions, a symphony of chatter and pencil scratching filling the air. You, however, found yourself deep in conversation with your classmate about the nuances and details that could make your project exceptional. Questions flew between you like sparks, igniting your enthusiasm and determination to ace the assignment.

Beside you, Haerin sat with her usual air of cool detachment. Known for her cold demeanor towards others, both intimidating and aloof, she often preferred to observe from the sidelines rather than engage. To most people, she was an enigma—a girl with an impenetrable fortress encasing her heart. But for you? She had built a soft sanctuary. You were the exception to her steely exterior, the person who had broken through, even if most didn’t realize it. Today, however, something felt different, and the subtle tension in the air should have clued you in.

As the discussion with your classmate surged, there was a faint rustling sound beside you. You cast a fleeting glance, expecting to see Haerin simply adjusting her position, but instead, you were met with an unexpected sight. Her phone was propped up, a silly cat video playing its merry tune, its chubby feline antics harmlessly entertaining. You turned back to your conversation, your focus unwavering, blissfully unaware of Haerin's attempt to gain your attention amidst the schoolwork.

The seconds stretched into minutes, and you could feel someone’s gaze boring into the side of your head. It was a quiet intensity that began to gnaw at your concentration. Still, with the excitement of potential ideas rallying in your mind, you pressed on, oblivious to the melancholy creeping across Haerin’s features.

Her lips, usually firm with a confident smirk or a sarcastic quip, now formed a delicate pout. The expression was unfamiliar, an unusual sight on her otherwise intimidating countenance. You could see the hurt lingering behind her dark eyes as she attempted to pounce on your attention with increasing frustration. Yet, you remained unmindful of her subtle cues, lost in your dialogue, trading ideas with your classmate about project layouts and content structure.

Not to be deterred, Haerin crossed her arms defiantly, her stern demeanor an attempt at intimidation even if it was futile in the face of her desire to connect. She was being constructed in a difficult scene—a hard outer shell struggling against an overwhelming softness for you that no one except you had ever witnessed. As she glanced at her phone, the laughter of the cat seemed painfully out of place, an echo of the lightness she was trying—yet failing—to instill in the moment.

Finally, the laughter of your classmate snapped her attention back to you only to find your focus unwavering, your laugh loud and melodic. The sulking expression on Haerin’s face deepened, her heart sinking as she realized the gap between you was growing larger. She turned her attention back to her textbook, desperately attempting to drown out the laughter ringing around her. But as the milliseconds swept by and reality settled in, her resolve began to wane.

With a reluctant sigh, Haerin leaned closer, attempting to be a distraction. She held her phone closer to your face with a newfound fervor, the charming melody from the video getting louder as she practically positioned it in front of you. Still, your eyes glazed over the screen, lost in intricate discussions that ebbed and flowed around you.

Tired of being ignored, she gently kicked the leg of your chair, a mild yet playful nudge that she knew would gain you at least a sidelong glance. But instead of meeting her eyes, you chuckled softly and waved her off, shrugging your shoulders in absent-minded acknowledgment. This was the moment her facade cracked.

“Y/N,” she finally said, her voice low and laced with an undeniable edge of impatience.

The words cut through the classroom noise, pulling you out of your intense dialogue. Bewildered, you turned to her, finally noticing the way her brow was furrowed in a delicate frown, and how her normally roguish confidence waned even in your presence. Something about the expression tugged at your heart.

Haerin?” you frowned, a twinge of concern threading through your voice. “What’s wrong?”

Her sulky pout deepened, her expression resembling that of a child. Her arm fell from across her chest and she turned to face you—finally breaking down her quiet wall of indifference. “Do you even care that I’m here?” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper yet heavy with vulnerability.

“Of course I care!” You blinked, realization dawning on you. How could you have missed the signs? Her attempt at attention was clear now. It wasn’t just about the project—it was about you two, about connection amidst the academic pressures. “Sorry, I was just—”

“Too busy with the project to notice your girlfriend is frowning at you?” she finished for you, though her words were laced with an affectionate playfulness. “I get it. It’s fine.”

“It’s not fine,” you insisted, your heart racing with affection and concern. You leaned closer, intrigued by the shift in her demeanor. “I didn’t realize you wanted my attention. I thought you…were fine.”

At that, a flicker of something softer ignited in Haerin’s gaze. “Well, clearly I can’t just wave a flag,” she said, rolling her eyes yet unable to suppress the ghost of a smile that broke through her dramatic frown. “If I could, the flag would say, ‘Hey, look at me! I promise I’m fun too!’”

Your heart melted at her playful attempt to lighten the mood, and you couldn’t help but chuckle softly. “You are fun,” you assured her, reaching over to take her hand. The moment your fingers entwined, warmth surged through you both. “You just have a terrible way of showing it sometimes.”

Haerin leaned into your side, the earlier neediness in her demeanor evolving to a relaxed comfort. She nudged her shoulder against yours, seeking that closeness she longed for. “Well, I thought a silly cat video would do the trick, but clearly it didn’t. I should have just spoiled your project talk with a mass of kisses instead.”

“Now that would have been distracting.” Your heart raced as you gently squeezed her hand. “But I’m sorry for ignoring you. Your talent for capturing attention deserves more than what I gave you.”

Haerin smiled at the compliment, the corners of her mouth lifting into that signature smirk you loved. “Darn right. Bringing the cuteness is my specialty,” she mused with a teasing lilt before breaking into a giggle.

Just then, the bell rang, signaling the end of class, and the cacophony of student chatter erupted around you yet again. But the air felt different now; it sparkled with affection and the shared warmth of understanding between you two. As you collected your belongings, Haerin’s fingers remained intertwined with yours, not willing to part even as you stood to join the flow of students filtering out.

“You know I’ve got a soft spot for you…” she murmured, her expression earnest as you stepped into the corridor, students bustling around you in varying states of excitement and chatter.

“I know,” you replied softly, glancing sideways at her with a dreamy smile. “And I promise never to let schoolwork overshadow you again.”

“Good,” she said, leaning into your side a bit more, her demeanor transforming into one of sweet vulnerability. “Because you’re mine, and I won’t share you with a textbook.”

Her possessiveness evoked laughter from you again, and as you navigated the vibrant chaos of your school hallway, you couldn’t help but feel immensely lucky to be the one who got to witness these moments with her—a girl who had opened up to you like a rare flower blooming amidst a thorny rosebush. “Then let’s make a deal,” you quipped, “more cat videos, and I promise even more ridiculous kisses.”

“Deal,” she replied, squeezing your hand with a playful intensity, her eyes shining as brightly as the sun filtering through the classroom windows. In that moment, you knew, no matter the storm of assignments or the weight of the world outside, this—having Haerin beside you—was everything you would ever need.

Hold me never let go

Hanni Pham X Reader

Synopsis - When you hold on to your feelings for so long, you're bound to explode at some point.

Genre – Fluff, a little angst if you squint  Warnings – none

now playing - hold me never let go, by Rocco

You arrived in Paris three days ago, all these days were spent with laughter and unique moments, the conversations were stimulating and the atmosphere was pleasant. Today, however, the mood was starting to get grayer and grayer, and so was your heart. All you wanted was to go back to the hotel, lock yourself in your room and cry, preferably far away from Hanni. You promised yourself that you wouldn't stay that way, that you wouldn't let your stupid feelings get in the way of such a nice time between you and your childhood friend.

Since Hanni joined Newjeans, you had seen her less often, but whenever the girl had a few days off and was back home, she would always take the time to hang out with you, and when she talked about this trip, extremely excited, with that smile on her face, you couldn't say no.

You were in love with Hanni since always, her eyes were beautiful and you could get lost in them all the time, you thought her nose was perfect, she always got mad when you did a little "Boop". And her mouth, you always stared at her, until you realized that maybe you were being too obvious, and that at any moment she could realize that all you wanted most in the world was to kiss her.

Everything on this trip reminded you of how Hanni wasn't yours, at least not as you wanted. And although all this was torture, you would rather keep your feelings than lose the most special person in your life.

Hanni didn't seem to realize your need for distance, while all you wanted was a little space - physically speaking - Hanni grabbed your hand so that you walked hand in hand on the sidewalks, she grabbed your biceps when the wind hit her harder and at the end of the day your jacket would smell like Hanni,  after she borrowed it because she forgot hers at the hotel.

All of this was a constant reminder, "SHE'S NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" written in big letters in your brain. Your heart begging you to make things easier just so it would stop hurting a little. Your stomach could no longer handle the butterflies every time Hanni approached, and your knees wanted to give way every time she touched her hand or her hair, and today it seemed that your whole body had simply given up on you.

When you felt the first splashes of rain, you and Hanni were very far from the hotel, no taxi around, and what seemed like a disgrace to you, seemed to only amuse Hanni.

"Come on Hanni, you'll catch a cold if you stay in the rain." You said, walking quickly towards the hotel.

"Yn, we're going to get wet anyway. The hotel is about seven streets from here." Hanni said, trying to catch up with your hurried steps. "Hey, wait for me, you're moving too fast."

The amusement in Hanni's voice could be heard clearly, she wasn't bothered by the rain wetting her expensive clothes, honestly, neither were you.

"yes, I am. Maybe I didn't want to get wet and catch a stupid cold." You said, aggressiveness in your voice.

"Hey, what was that? What's happening to you?" Hanni said, the shorter girl running and grabbing your arm, turning your body towards her.

"Hanni, come on, I don't believe you're going to make us sick." Despite the frown on your face, Hanni doesn't understand why you'd be so mad at the rain.

"What's your problem, Yn? You're acting like this all day." Hanni says crossing her arms. The rain falling on you both.

Hanni's hair and clothes were already completely soaked, just like yours, and as much as you didn't want to, you couldn't help but notice how beautiful the shorter girl was.

"You're my problem, you're making us get wet." You say, trying to continue your way to the hotel, only to be stopped by Hanni once again.

"No, I don't believe that! You've been avoiding me all day, you seem to want to stay away from me at all times, I can't even touch you and you seem to run away. I tried to be nice and not ask, but you've just been rude to me all day, so come on, tell me, what's your fucking problem?" Hanni says, trying not to yell at you and make the situation worse.

"YOU'RE MY PROBLEM!" You screamed, tears beginning to fall. "I tried Hanni, I swear I tried to push all that away, but I can't. I love you too much to let you go, and that's my problem. I feel like I'm hiding all the things I've ever felt, I feel suffocated, and all of this is because I just can't say I love you, and not as a friend."

Hanni was speechless, the thick raindrops falling mingling with the tears of the two of you. Two women standing on the sidewalk, in front of a closed flower shop, while you would let everything you had kept under lock and key finally leave.

"Every time you hold me, I don't want to let you go Hanni, I don't know how to deal with it, it's too much for me to know that I can't have you as I want, love you as I want. I'm just suffocating and I was just trying my hardest to fight and endure all of this because I don't want to lose you..."

"You'll never lose me." Hanni interrupts you, her voice low as she shakes her head negatively.

Grabbing your hands the shorter girl approaches you, her eyes sparkle in tears, but somehow, they don't look sad. And for a moment, you felt that there was still hope for you.

"I love you too! And not as a friend."  The girl says laughing and fumbling slightly with a sob caused by crying. "I've been waiting to tell you this on the last day of the trip, because I didn't want you to be uncomfortable if you didn't reciprocate my feelings. You can't imagine how relieved I am." Hanni says laughing.

The shorter girl brings your right hand close to her mouth, giving a light kiss. Hanni smiles through her tears, and you can't help but feel luckier. The girl you've been in love with since you were a child, your best friend, the woman of your life, loves you back.

"You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now." You say, placing your hands on either side of Hanni's face.

"Who's stopping you?" The girl says, with a smile.

Without saying anything else, you both lean in, bringing your lips together slightly. Kissing tastes sweet, you don't know if it's just Hanni's lip gloss or if your brain is making you feel things, but you definitely love it. The feeling of wasted time being quickly forgotten during the kiss, the falling rain didn't seem to take you out of your own world and anyone who passed by could clearly see that you were the most passionate couple in Paris.

Moving away slightly, you and Hanni exchanged glances of accomplices, and you swear you fell in love even more, if that's possible.

"We're definitely going to catch a cold." You laugh at Hanni's speech.

"I don't really think I care about it anymore." You say, looking at Hanni's smile.

"As long as I'm with you, I don't care about anything else." Hanni says, kissing your lips once more.

Well, that was pretty random, but now we officially have Newjeans history! I love Newjeans, actually, these girls were the reason I started paying more attention to kpop.

btw, I recommend you listen to "hold me never let go" by Rocco, this song is fire

forget-me-nots have always been hanni's favorite flower. she pointed it out to you once, as trainees, when you two were passing by a flower shop on the way back to the dorms. the display was only dimly lit, the hours way past closing, yet she was able to recognize them so quickly—it amazed you.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ – loser!haerin x popular!reader !!

synopsis: as the popular kid at school, you were constantly put in the spotlight. but, you never liked it. you never felt truly seen by people and it was exhausting. walking in the rain was never a problem for you—you always carried your umbrella on you. so, why did you give it away to some girl you didn’t know the name of? and why did she make you feel human?

no one loves you like i can, at least i think they can’t. the way i admire every thing about you. the way you hold onto your left sleeve when you receive a compliment. the smile you give only to me when i treat you to your favorite ice cream flavor. the way you slip your gentle fingers onto my own. the light scent of fruit on your fingertips from cutting fruit. to the way you cradle my jaw like you discovered gold. but in between all these small moments is the reality that no one could know of this existence between us.

AUTHOR'S NOTE ! ohmygoff guys i tried a different header style and i don’t like it but i’m too lazy to fix it 😭 anyway i got this idea from a tt i saw like a year ago lol

You’re sitting cross-legged in front of your vanity, lip gloss uncapped in one hand and your phone in the other. A stream of notifications rolls across the screen—texts from your friends about tonight’s party, someone asking if you’re bringing Haerin, and a single message from your ex that you’ve been ignoring all day.

The girl behind you shifts on the bed, the soft glow from your LED lights casting faint shadows across her face. She’s still in her oversized sweater, the sleeves bunched over her hands, and her glasses are slipping down the bridge of her nose. Loose strands of hair frame her face as she watches you apply your makeup.

“You’re really going?” Haerin’s voice is soft, almost hesitant.
