i'm from the future;

Idea for what was left unsaid at the end of 6x18 Spin City.

When Leo and Chris are on the bridge talking at the end of the episode and Chris tells Leo he was never there for him but he was for everybody else I’ve always felt there was much more there left unsaid and so I ended up coming up with my own idea.. We know Piper dies when Chris is 14 and the aunts are most likely not around either anymore? So what if they all died on the same day? Wyatt killed them in front of Chris maybe on his 14th Birthday? To get Chris to his side thinking eventually the pain and hatred would turn him to the evil side, except it did the opposite it drove Chris to stop Wyatt even more whether that be kill him or stop him from turning evil in the first place.

When Wyatt attacks them he kills Paige and Phoebe instantly but Piper is however still alive and Chris runs to her side as Wyatt leaves and Chris calls for Leo numerous times begging him to come and save Piper and even starts calling him dad as he was so desperate but Chris’s cries go unanswered and Piper dies too. Before Piper died she told Chris to get out and run before the police shows up so after gathering himself together he runs upstairs and grabs a photo of them all and some clothes and runs and from then on he is on the run from the public and most likely witch hunters just like the girls saw back in season 2 and that's how Wyatt gains the Manor and how the public find out about the charmed ones.

But Chris doesn't tell Leo this because for one it's too much information about the future and second whilst he hates Leo with every fiber of his body the Leo he is talking to is technically not THAT Leo and he knows how much it would hurt him if he knew the real underlying issue to why he can't look at him or forgive him because at the end of the day he is still him and he still wasn't there for him which hurts but he hates him to the core for the other reason.

From future Leo's POV Since we know whatever happened to Wyatt happened before Chris is born as he said in witch wars what if Leo felt so consumed with guilt that he had failed his son in the worst way possible that he was scared of also failing his youngest too so much so he buried himself in his duties and looking for whoever turned his son because if he could fix him then he could fix all his failures and he could be a good dad again and in-between he still reached out as Chris says he had loads of letters piled up from his dad and most likely loads of broken promises etc On the day of the girls deaths he was in the underworld following a lead about whatever happened to Wyatt and didn't hear his sons cries for help and when he did go back up he learned of what happened but it was too late he once again had failed his family and now his son would never forgive him so he watched over him from afar making sure he was okay since now he was all alone but Leo still couldn't bring himself to be his father he'd failed too much and he was no good for him.

Okay I know this sucks and I am so sorry!!! Also it’s very messy but I suck at sharing thoughts as you can see lol!
