And we're back! Apologies for the late update. There is good news to be shared with all of you, though. Progress has been made on the game, and we're drawing even closer to the end of the spring semester of school. Soon enough, more of Destire will be able to dedicate more time to the project, hopefully.

The art department has worked on some more sketches for the basement floor! Here we have a screen that you will see at some point no matter how you play the game... take from that what you will.

While there hasn't been any new writing for the script of the game this month, there has been some discussion about gameplay elements and perhaps the addition of more content to the demo. That's all that can be said without getting into spoiler territory, though.

As for the coding team, the introduction section of the demo has been coded! The phenomenal @pirate-captain-froggy has done some critical work as one of our few coders.

Part 2 of the WIP. I've been really lazy and unmotivated lately (also Sunrise on the Reaping came out and that consumed my everything for like three whole days) but I didn't want to leave this stuff unfinished so here we are.

Finished Jay's concept. I think her jacket is like an actual jacket and not part of her form. Which is how I'm excusing the blue even though Bird's Eye Rhyolite is basically just orange and grey. I've got reasoning for all their gem placements if anyone wants to hear about that lol.

This time the weapons are here too! We're actually missing one because I'm going to let Gillion have his old whalebone sword too. I think in this au, the OG sword is Gill's actual summonable weapon and Destiny's Blade is a gem artifact like Lapis's mirror. The little circle thing in the hilt is their gem probably.

Also, Jay's just gonna keep her bow. The guns are cool and all, but I just can't imagine it looking good as a gem weapon. Also I don't wanna draw guns. But idk. If you feel like I should return her glock then feel free to say so.
