taeil from nct getting kicked out for being accused of sexual assault is a reminder that, as a fan, you are not a bad person for stanning a celebrity before you knew about their crimes. it's normal to like celebrities, just like you never know if someone you like irl is going to turn out to be a piece of shit
it's all about what you do once you find out, not before, when you were unaware of the crimes. and it's okay to continue stanning idols (in general, not the criminal ones jshdkfjs) cuz, again, you are not responsible for idols' decisions (just like it's okay to continue caring for people in general irl even tho some people burned you in the past). life is just shit sometimes
moral of the story, you should cut out the bad people without feeling guilty for having liked them in the past when you didn't know they were bad. and bad people shouldn't make you feel like you can't love people in the future

The fact that SM entertainment didn’t hesitate to remove him from the group just speak volumes about how severe the situation is and his involvement too. I am disgusted.
the fact that SM, who famously try to rehab criminals and will put idols on hiatus for years rather than move, kicked taeil out of the entire company and issued the statement right away means what he’s being sued for must be a new level of horrifying
I hope that the victims get the justice that they deserve. As fans, never be too blind. It is literally the idols job to make us fall in love with him.

This situation is disgusting, painful, and sickening to the core, but it is very real.
Idols, let's not forget, are real people with real lives, that we do not know, so their actions undoubtedly affect the people around them.
While it absolutely sucks that someone who had so much influence over our lives turned out to be so vile, and it definitely hurts for his fans, this is about the victim, and it always will be.
It is absolutely okay and acceptable to be upset by this whole situation, but the focus should be on the victim and getting them the justice they deserve.
Supporting Taeil from this point forward is disgusting and does absolutely nothing for showing solidarity with the victim or anyone else who has been victim to anything similar
And making up rumours about a situation like this is equally as disgusting, lying about something so serious for a moment of fame and spotlight? or to pretend we know more than we really do? Please let's avoid spreading misinformation and rumours. It's not respectful in the slightest.
