"Despite what it may seem this song isn’t really about religion. It’s got a minor dog motif, which is always notable. The vocals and music are astounding. It’s a very long song but all of it is so good. The lyrics ‘ Our kids will grow up with half as much/ Trying to build something out of dust / Finding out too late what they need’ occupy a lot of space in my head, but all the lyrics in this are banger. The part where Wicca Phase Springs Eternal comes in is so good, the contrast is really cool and it sounds so neat. There’s just a lot of really interesting imagery in this song that means I always end up rotating it in my head. I’ll always remember listening to this song in a hotel in the dark, it was a very trippy/cool experience. (Would recommend) There’s a lot of cool repetition in this song, especially at the end, which is also where the dog motif really comes out. It’s just such a banger song that fucks me up so much"

perhaps i am just sensitive but i think if someone in front of you in line is being a dick to the cashier you should be allowed to bash their skull in with a hammer. Just how i think the world should be

im one of the angels assigned to guard god's throne and i keep shaving a piece of wood off one of the legs so it gets progressively thinner and weaker until one day it will snap like a matchstick and the big man will topple from his seat of power to grace the ground with his holy ass. of course he's omniscient so he already knows this and will have to banish me from heaven when it happens, but because of free will he has to give me the option to repent right until the very end. we both know i'm not going to do it but the rules that define our very being won't let us take any other course of action and besides he made me this way, so really the joke's on him no matter what.

hera wolf 359 is the most trans woman character of all time. it’s the way she’s treated as a woman implicitly - that people have those expectations for her in terms of roles and affectations - but not a real woman, always with the caveat she’s a different category of person. that she is canonically deadnamed and de-gendered as a form of control. the general distrust she feels, fear that respect for her identity is insincere and/or that it can be revoked at any time, if she’s too disagreeable. that she is reflective about her identity and place in the world to an agonizing degree, in a way even the other marginalized people around her aren’t quite, not in the same way, because it feels like all she can control. that she has an internal self-image, cultivated inwardly and maybe not even knowingly, even while she is under the impression no one will ever be able to see her, and that being seen in the way she exists in her own subjective memory is pivotal to some of the biggest moments in her character arc… that she feels this physical loneliness and this seemingly insurmountable gap between the way others perceive her and the way she thinks of herself. and most importantly, that the ways she feels different, the things she feels make her fundamentally doomed… so much of that is just not true and falls away during the course of the show…

And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.

Here’s a thing that happened to one of my friends. I was there.

Basically, we were walking down the sidewalk, talking about something meaningless. I think it had to do with a movie. Then this bus screeches up, stops next to us, and a bunch of people with “Down with Cis” shirts climbed out and started beating him up. I was punched and kicked a bit too, but I managed to avoid brutalization by going for their faces. After figuring out what’s happening, I started attacking them back, getting them off of him. He was quite injured but I called 911 and he made a full recovery at the hospital. I was fine, with only a cut on my arm that they patched up.

I really like this website because somebody will be like “there’s nothing wrong with darting out from behind a parked car into traffic, bootlicker” and you can be like okay this clearly evolved from a valid point about how the US is too car-centric. But something happened to it.
