I take immense schadenfreude in Elon Musk spending $25 million to try to influence an election in Wisconsin only for the candidate he was backing to lose by a larger margin than was predicted before Musk got into the race. Like how tf do you dump that much money into a state supreme court election and get not only nothing out of it but LESS than nothing. That's a truly impressive level of failure. Whether they’re coming from Nintendo’s corporate greed or as a response to the tariffs, these prices are absolutely unacceptable. In no universe should fucking Mario Kart be $100. Worse yet is that (at least some of) their “physical” cartridges won’t even have the games themselves on them and instead act like “keys” for online download codes. This is the kind of digital hell boogeyman you’d expect to see Microsoft or EA unleash, and it’s coming from Nintendo.

The Switch 2 comes out near both my birthday and college graduation date. I was thinking about getting it for myself if it was in the $300-$400 price range. I can accept a console that’s $450, but when I can’t afford any games on top of it? And I won’t even own all the games I buy? Fuck that. Iwata is rolling in his grave right now.

Ive been experimenting a lot with procreate brushes lately! Im really into brush strokes and texture right now. I just want to bring that traditional art vibe to my digital art. I also want to lean more into some of my artist inspirations, since my old work didn't really allow me to (in my brain at least, its art, i could do whatever i wanted but my brain just wouldn't let me lol).
