Desperate to write a seventeen appreciation post but words arent enough to describe how amazing and talented they are! They nail it in every possible thing and you never see them lacking… i can go on and on for so long about how much i adore each of the members! Especially woozi and his god damn music therapy he gives out to us😭 never in my entire life did i think some strange 13 men would be my comfort 🫶 hoping they get what they want and if multiverse is real i hope seventeen meets each other in ever universe🧿💗

Ok the PJO show is fucking amazing and I love everything about it, but if I could change just one thing, it would be the claiming scene. Not the visuals of the scene, because Annabeth pushing him and the glowing trident is *chef's kiss,* but I wish they had kept Chiron's original line from the book

because everyone standing while Chiron says:

"You have been claimed by Poseidon. Earthshaker, Stormbringer. Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon"

is not as impactful as everyone kneeling in awe as Chiron says:

"Poseidon," said Chiron. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of the Sea God"

i think that percy and annabeth's relationship is so healing for both of them. like, our girl has severe abandonment issues but managed to pull the guy whose fatal flaw is unwavering loyalty. and our boy has severe self-esteem issues but managed to pull the girl who consistently chooses him. i love these two so much.

grover being the first friend percy had and being the reason he didn't feel so lonely, him risking percy hating him to get him kicked out of school to protect him. swearing to sally jackson that he will protect her son. standing up to chiron and dionysus saying that he believes percy should be told the truth. and telling him anyway right in front of them even when they told him not to.

For some reason I’m still seeing people being racist about the Disney+ PJO show, so if you’re out there hating on Leah for being a black Annabeth, here’s what you need to realize:

A big part of Annabeth’s character is how she felt she was never taken seriously because of the way she looked. In the books, it was specifically because she was blonde, and blondes were seen as dumb.

Well, that stereotype is much less common today, and most blondes aren’t really looked down upon. But you know who is? People of color. Especially young black girls. Leah’s Annabeth will still have to deal with prejudice because of how she looks.

Annabeth’s key trait wasn’t her hair color, it was how she proved to be the best despite how others judged her. It just so happens that her skin color is now what causes her to be judged.

I think Leah is perfect to play Annabeth in today’s world. Just how young blonde girls used to be empowered by book Annabeth, I know Leah’s Annabeth will teach young black girls that they can be everything she is.
