don’t you think it must be crazy insane to make a role just for you, for you and the memory of your mother and first father, and you leave it behind, but then there’s another boy in the role. and you were never asked. and it was yours, nothing about it was impersonal, you don’t know what made him think it could be transfered when it meant everything to you. when it Was you. you don’t understand. you don’t understand. how could he do this to you? how could you not see it coming? how could you see it coming? and then there’s tim and tim understands that it’s yours. tim, and this is not to say you have any problems with the boy that died in the suit that was yours-yours-yours because you would rather have died in his place a million times over, but tim tells you you are the only one who can be robin. you’re the first, the best, the guiding light. you are everything. you do not feel vindicated, you can’t, but...tim tells you he needs you and you go. and tim understands what robin is to you. tim understands. which is why you give it to him, which is why you choose him, which is why you make sure he does this time, because tim understands. tim knows. tim knows it’s yours and you are letting him try it and tim knows it’s not just a suit or a name. tim makes sure you know that as well.

i understand why superheroes wouldn't kill the jonkler, but you're telling me none of the other villains did it already? and don't tell me the "he's too powerful" nonsense jangler absolutely looks like a strong gust of wind would topple him over to the mountains

Steph brown sewed a little bat onto her tank top. She Sewed a little bat patch to add onto her tank top so she could be more on theme as Robin. She’s literally the cutest to ever do it ever.
I highly doubt she sewed it, love her to death, but she has no patience for something so silly, no it's either E6000 or an iron-on, either way she bought the patch on clearance after halloween.
Not sure where you got this impression? Steph is extremely creative and sews lots of things for herself and others. Given her inventiveness and how much she DIY’s I can totally see her making her own patch over buying one. I don’t think she’d see it as too ‘silly’ for her attention at all. Steph has had tons of hobbies a which require patience and focus, it’s definitely just not beyond her abilities.

I agree a lot with what you said regarding emma and jean, how they don’t have to be friends, and biggg agree on writers not taking female characters feelings and conflicts seriously. Their recent dynamic is so bland, because well- they don’t have a dynamic and I wish we got to see them actually talk and have feelings towards each other, and these feelings don’t have to be positive! It’s a shame because they’re both too interesting to be regulated to bland interactions.
big agree!! i think they have been framed as contrasts in really interesting ways, and of course there are very easily observable similarities between them, so to not have any of that interesting stuff make it into their actual interactions is a bummer!
