note: This is an opening ep so I do not want to put anything too strong here. Just want to give you guys an overall look at the situation between Jeno, Y/n and Jaehyun.

You’re sitting at your coffee table in the living room, trying to finish all the work so that you can enjoy your weekend the most. You open the door without knowing who decides to bother you on Saturday morning.
“ Jeno? What are you doing here? Also, you have the key why do you knock?”
He flashes you his lovely signature smile that melts your heart and it’s also the reason why you avoided him the whole week.
“ Well, first of all, I’m your best friend so do I need a reason to see you? Also, I miss you pumpkin, I feel like you’re trying to avoid me, which is weird so I think it’s better to knock on your door than just you know, use the key like usual. I know you need your personal space, too, pumpkin.”
You immediately feel sorry for abandoning your own best friend, or should I say your crush? Yes yes, you’ve just found out recently after a “daily” party at Johnny’s house. You realize you love your childhood best friend.
“ Oh just continue to do your work, I just want to check on you. I bought you some tulips, all colours of course. I’m gonna clean for you a little bit then make us a meal, What ya think?”
“ Uhm Jeno thank you so much but uhm.. I’m kinda busy and ..”
“ Yes, I know. And then you’re gonna skip all your meals and even… Okay enough talking just ignore me, I do my work and you do yours”. He finishes by giving your forehead a slight kiss.
And just like that, time flew. You two have your lunch like usual but you don’t feel right today, face to face with him. Your feelings toward him have changed, and you keep thinking about whether you should tell him or not. And when you make up your mind and decide to confess to him, he breaks your heart.
“ Hey Jen, actually I did avoid you last week, I’m sorry but the reason was my feelings for you, they changed. I li…”
“ Is it your father again? Did he pressure you with your brand?”
“No. And yes, work does exhaust me but what I’m trying to tell you is…”
“ Come to Johnny’s party tomorrow night. I want you to relax and keep yourself away from all the work, it’s the weekend. I also want to introduce Jane to you.” He cut you off. again.
“ Who’s Jane? Johnny’s sister?”
“No. It’s a new girl that John introduced to me. She is a journalist”.He smiles. That smile again. He smiles while talking about her. You lose. You officially lose.
You feel like a loser. Maybe he knew what you’re about to say so he has to tell you first.
“ Y/n? Are you listening to me?”
“ Yeah... I’m just thinking about what to wear tomorrow and I definitely not gonna waste like last time.”
That night you cried yourself to sleep. Why does he have to treat you like that? He makes you feel so special then just drop you like that.

“ Hey hey, our hot girl is here. Y/s is here guys”. Johnny rushes to the door and gives you his big bear hug while announcing.
“ I’ve been waiting for you since the party started. You’re late pumpkin. I have something hot for you tonight you better get ready. See that fine man over there, the one with the dimples. He’s all yours tonight and maybe many nights after. That’s Jaehyun, the young and rich CEO of L.O.G Company. I showed him some of your pictures and pumpkin I have to tell you that man’s completely whipped”.
“ Oh John, you have to stop your blind date games, I’m an adult I know who is the best for me. And also I’m so busy right now with my brand and you know that.”
“ But look at his dimples”. Johnny makes a face that you know you cannot say no to him. Jaehyun is a fine man actually, he can also be a distraction to keep your mind away from Jeno. So why not give it a try?
“ Nice to meet you, I’m Jaehyun.” He flashes his dimples.
‘ Oh he’s flirting’ you think. “ Nice to meet you too, I’m Y/n. Now tell me what did John babble about me to you hah? Well, let me guess. I bet I’m a workaholic perfectionist whom everyone is afraid to talk with right?”
“ Quite different from what I heard, I would say but I would love to know more about that”.
It’s weird. You’re interested in him. You totally forgot about Jeno for the past 2 hours when you “ got to know” more about Jaehyun. You succeed in keeping yourself sober tonight, but Jeno is on the other hand, totally wasted.
“Hey Y/n it’s late, Can I drive you home?” Jaehyun asks. “ Uhmm thank you for asking but Jeno is kinda drunk here and I can not just leave him you know.”
“ Oh just let him drive you home”. Johnny appears after cleaning the kitchen. “ He has Jane, you remember?”.
Yes. Now he has Jane. “ But…”.
“ Nah ah. no, but Y/n. Let this gentleman do his work, don’t you?”. John tries to convince you. “ Thank you so much Jaehyun. Please bring her home safely.”
