hope youโre doing good, you have been to a svt concert right? I just had a few questions regarding how to purchase the ticketsโฆ so I donโt really have any carat friends irl, which means Iโll have to go to a concert on my own (which is not the issue) the main issue is Iโm not really a tech person so I have no idea on how to purchase the tickets and everything ๐ญ the last time svt came to my city I was a minor so I couldnโt attend any tour, now I can attend but Iโm just so confused about everythingโฆ do you use apps like ticket master? Also do carats with membership get any special benefits (aside from being allowed to book the tickets early)
hii!!! yes i just went to my first svt concert last year and it was a bit wack especially cause kpop concert ticketing is SO MUCH MORE DIFFERENT than other concerts i have been to
iโm not totally sure about anywhere outside the US however, but iโll still share my experiences if it can shed some help on anything!!

the tickets were through ticketmaster ONLY (other websites will say but if they cannot redirect you it is a scam).
a couple days before the tickets went live i added both my credit and debit card (i recommend both just in the case the other one doesnโt work but obviously not required for good experience, but in general it is good to have two cards.)
also if you have more than one device or want to open as many tabs, you cannot use the same account on both. so i made two accounts and had one up on my phone (app/website) and computer (website). however, if there is more than one day, you can have the same account for both days on separate tabs. you could use the membership for any tickets.
when the website/appโs ticket sales start, try to refresh once! it can be a jumpscare when it comes up but my reflexes were terrible and i got a low place in line but i refreshed it and waited longer. this is just a possible forewarning though LOL.
so for the membershipโฆ.in my opinion, itโs really only useful for concert tickets. the other benefits can be obtained via group orders & when people post the photos to social media apps. for ticketing, i had the membership and someone i knew didnโt, so when we ticketed, and i objectively got better seats. or if you donโt want to pay flat ~$20 you could always buy them off someone on instagram or ticketmaster (i recommend instagram cause they WILL give you face value or something most likely to be cheaper than resale sites).
also important for ALL CONCERTS!! please update your password and do not use generic ones!! someone bought tickets from me through the app and a random person stole them! however, if this does happen, it is not the end! call and pester ticketmaster service every morning! this is how we got them back (reddit lowkey gave good advice). if you are able to, add them to your wallet asap and take a video/photo just in case someone later tries to take them, you have evidence.

this sounds and is a lot of information, but it is all that i found somewhat helpful and unique or something i learned/experienced. i hope some of these at least make you feel a bit more secure when hyping yourself for the ticketing process.
i believe in you!!! it does seem very scary and this feeling wonโt go away till after ticketing especially if itโs your first time. however, remember that if you donโt get the tickets the first time (UNLIKELY) then you still have a big chance of acquiring some later!!

ok i need people who are happy about the tiktok ban to understand your opinion should actually have nothing to do with the fact that itโs tiktok. like you can hate tiktok. but supporting the ban is supporting censorship, full stop.
like, i fucking hate twitter. itโs a hellhole. would i celebrate if it went bankrupt and shutdown? probably! would i celebrate if the GOVERNMENT BANNED IT? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT. because the government SHOULD NOT be making decisions about how and what people are allowed to talk about on the internet. ever.

I know I'm being joke-y about it but I am actually very sad and hurt rn because this ban is just the start of the US government stripping us of our rights! It was never about security risks, it's always been about the rich dickheads in the government not wanting us to be able to speak to one another and spread information about the causes we care about without censorship.
