internet friends are so funny bro. here are some fuckers who know more about me than my mother. their names? well this one's no eyed joe, that one's takeout container, that one's moo, this one's named after several hit video game characters, that one is soup and so is that other one, here are a couple named after several thousand year old stories. that one's scammer. that one's volcano residue and here's fungus and rodent and there's podcast character and we can't forget the birds. this one says he's not named after a supernatural character but there's no evidence to support that. here's vegetables and arson. i love them all very dearly. oh yeah and they're all queer

When Wriothesley and Quifrey meet, it’s something like this:

β€œMonsieur Neuvillette, who’s your friend?”

β€œThis is Master Thorncrest. They’re assisting me in casework.”

β€œOh? You didn’t tell me you had such a pretty assistant. Have we met before? Maybe you slipped by me in a dream once.”

And Quifrey, not missing a single beat would respond with. β€œNo, I’m pretty sure I’d remember meeting someone as Handsome as you.” And Neuvillette’s just in the corner, trying his best to ignore them. 🀭

Perhaps, then, this is my fate. To be ignored. Nobody cares, of course, and anything said to the contrary was only to lessen the blow. On the contrary, it heightens the lingering sting ever-more.

Quifrey has a human soul so what if that makes their memories human too? What if thei mind deteriorates over time? What if one day, they grew to forget everything and everyone they knew and just wandered aimlessly around.? And adding to that, what if their delivery route was the same so their body remembers what their mind cannot?

They eventually would grow to forget Neuvillette because The man is immortal. Raaaaa and one of Quifrey’s routes is Neuvillette’s office?!?! So they still stop by and Neuvillette would have to face them knowing what they used to have is completely dispersed from Quifrey’s memory.
