We are very (and humbly!) excited to make this announcement today. For a while now, miss @cb97percent and myself have been working on expanding the universes we write about. We had fun coming up with ideas for various articles and it was truly rewarding to see these ideas come to life.

So, today, we launch Soulwritten Atelier.

The prices you see mostly reflect production costs, and we do not request anything from anybody. But we write from the soul and wished to share our passion with our readers. We are grateful for everything and everyone who has contributed to this launch today. See you over there!

You have officially run out of red string. 

The cork board in the conference room doesn’t have any more open spaces for new leads or clues. You can’t even see the brown of the board anymore. 

Instead of whittling information down, you’ve only come up with more suspects for the case. 

It’s better than the case going cold, sure, but it feels like you’re getting further and further from actually solving the damn thing. 

It also doesn’t help that you not only have Chief Bang breathing down your neck, but the entire city as well. You understand, really, everyone wants a killer to be caught. 

But these sort of things take time.

Your body registered the deep grunt before your brain properly did; you tensed, the hairs on your skin standing straight, your core tingling with delight. You gave the man in your bed a curious look, one eyebrow raised; and you almost sighed out in response. Hyunjin was in nothing but boxers, your blanket – long smelling of him, or a mixture of you and him, or sex and him – lazily draped over his lean body, not necessarily to cover him but just because it was there. And it was barely covering him, in the first place; revealing his entire upper body and one leg which he couldn’t hold still, digging it into your mattress, or stretching. His shaved head was buried in your pillows – also holding his scent, reminding you of the times you pulled it close to your body and breathed it in whenever he couldn’t stay overnight – and he looked tortured, somehow. Laying on his side but writhing, half of his face hidden in the pillowcase before he sighed out hopelessly, and threw himself on his back. His body tensed with the movement, abdomen clenching and revealing muscle, shoulders protruding, the skin there stretching thinly, and it gave you the godliest sight. And then he looked at you. Finally. Deep eyes locking with yours, reading you, pleading you, begging you for something yet unspoken. But you could tell he was; his telltale puppy eyes, his blown out pupils, his quivering lip. His scrunched, full brows. Not only could you look at him forever, you also knew he wanted something. Something from you.

Mari you did it again 😭 I read the first part AGES ago so I re-read it last night to catch up on these two parts and it might have taken me over 7 hours to read everything but I don’t regret a single thing.

You always make your stories feel so real, they’re very realistic. I’m not bashing any other story of the sort because I love them all, but sometimes the angst doesn’t feel right and they forgive each other way too quickly. But this? It’s perfect. The awkwardness, the anger, the oh so slow build up before the two of them feel even close to being comfortable around each other again. It’s so easy to put yourself in this story because it’s just that good and well written.

Hmu when you publish an actual book because I can and WILL be buying them all. You’re way too good at this to be doing it for free.
