yknow i never noticed the sheer rareness of images having ids or alt text on this website until i started adding alt text to my art (and trying to remember to add it to any images i post in general, especially text screenshots) and that makes me kinda sad

I feel like a lot of people just don't know how to do it or are intimidated by the prospect. I was too, actually, and I couldn't find any good guides on how to do it (beyond basic formatting) and most guides boiled down to "just describe what you see and important details!" I really wanted to add alt text bc accessibility is important to me, but I would always get kinda stumped on how to do it.

But then I saw this image, I think in a discord server, and I immediately started doing it. It kinda broke the ice for me

and okk, i have a forced dinner w/ my ex(i think) friend and her family that im not looking foward to tho :(

What happened with your friend?

LONGG story, but we've been friends for like 2 yrs (especially cause we are both from senegal) but she started being really rude randomly at the start of the year, and acting real distant but our parents are friends so i was fine w/ it. (mind you i HATE people raising their voices/yelling in a mad way it literally just sets of a fuse in me). and then there was this whole thing of her leaving me behind EVERYWHERE which was abnormal especially when i couldnt walk and literally abandoning me for 30 minutes during a field trip. and can i figure that out yes, but i kinda want my friends to care a little about me. so its not like we had a huge fight but i tried to talk w/ her about it and she kept brushing it off and i just gave up.

but noww her mom called a couple days ago to invite me to break my fast w/them for the end of ramadan and there isnt really a way for me to get out of it so now i gotta go in like 4 hrs :(

but we might end up being friends again just cause im in my junior year (hs) and its less work to keep the same friend group and avoid the drama of not being her friend when we have a bit over a year before graduating and going to college and not having to speak ever again

NOW WHAT IS TAMPERED MILK??

my teacher added stuff to milk and we had to drink it and determine what’s wrong with it, (she put garlic powder and salt in it) it was awful. Would not recommend.

i am so sorry. i would puke?! that feels like cruel and unusual punishment

at least we don’t have to do the meat testing that we were supposed to, because I’m vegetarian

that sounds like a surefire way to get food poisoning or atleast a very upset stomach but omg cutee!

My cat when I won’t let her eat food that’s not good for her (she’s so sad)
