Rise of the Parallel

A crossover fan-fiction graphic novel starring the 8 ninja turtles from TMNT 2012 and Rise of the TMNT.

Follow their multi-dimensional adventure as the turtles once again take on the Krang. The fate of the world rests on the boys’ shoulders while they fight to take down the Krangs’ plots of world domination, can they take the pressure? No one said being a hero was easy, but they’re not alone!

During a late-night run in with The Foot Clan, the turtles get injected with a mysterious mutagenic chemical made by the one and only Baxter Stockman, that has the unexpected effect of turning them into humans. At first, everything seems like a dream come true, being able to walk the streets in broad daylight, doing everything they’ve never been able to do before. That is until Donnie begins falling extremely ill from the chemical that changed them into their human forms. The boys must race against the clock to save their brother before it’s too late, but with their new vulnerability, The Shredder won’t make that an easy task.

Karai probably spends a good portion of her time at the Foot Clan headquarters (since that’s essentially her house), but she’s allowed to go wherever she wants as long as Kenji is with her so—like you said—she’s no doubt wandering around New York City all the time going shopping and stuff because it’s interesting and new.

I do think she’d have to do all the things she needs to first, like school work and training or whatever, but otherwise I think it’s just as long as Kenji’s willing to go.

I think the turtles wouldn’t have very much of a Brooklyn accent (maybe Raphael a bit, but just slightly), Casey would have a really thick one though—thick enough actually that I try to write his dialogue in a way that you can hear it. April probably wouldn’t have any accent at all.

I actually do have a video of what voices I think would be nice!

None of my turtles are able to grow air. I never really understood that in other versions of TMNT, it doesn’t really make sense, so I’m not adding it.

No, the turtles’ lair will not be discovered, though the Foot Clan will try their best anyway.

Yeah, I’d imagine so.

No I don’t have any plans on anyone in my story being double mutated at any point in time. I’m still debating if that’d be possible in my universe.

And your last question. Not quite, but Karai and Kenji do play a very important role in this arc. (Also side note, in early drafts of the Foot Attack, Donnie breaks his arm but I’ve recently changed some events so actually Donnie has pneumonia instead.)

According to my current plans, yes.

My Donnie is much more of a robotics guy than a biology guy (which only becomes more so as the story develops), so Donnie, as much as he’s like to help turn Karai back, doesn’t have the skills needed to make a retro-mutagen.

I’d imagine he’s probably terrified of what a minor screw up could do to her as well.

Besides that though, it completely eliminates the last bits of weirdness between Leo and Karai’s relationship so I don’t really plan on changing that anytime soon. (Plus ✨character development✨)

I plan to, yeah!

At the very least, their designs will change when they get new scars, but I also do plan for their gear and height to change slightly over time.

Time actually does pass in my world, so I plan to make the turtles subtly older as time goes on.
