ever since he assumed the lead project manager position at his dad’s corporation board (the youngest ever!), regulus travels a lot. it’s honestly a chore. he hates it. his ears pop, his back aches and jet lag is seriously a bitch. so, when his assistent suggested a private plane he felt it was a good idea.

and a good idea it was.

with the new plane, came its pilot. at 25 years old, remus lupin is a sight. all long limbs, crooked teeth and oh god a perfect nose. he was employed to be regulus’ full time pilot, to be available at all times and to take him flying around the world.

as stated before, it was a good idea.

and regulus never really minded all the traveling anymore.

moonwater crushing on each other for years, and they are unable to flirt the normal way, but keep making the other fall in love by always trying to give the "better part of life" or making it easier

Regulus choosing an apartment complex with a lift, or on the ground floor so Remus doesn't struggle with stairs IF he ever visits

Remus choosing specific fabrics for clothes because Reg struggles with some and what if he has to lend him a sweater?

Regulus always giving Rem the cup with slightly more hot chocolate / tea when they order the same

Remus putting an extra piece of clothing (scarf, mittens) on his bag because Regulus is always cold

Regulus buying books in specific paper/font/format in general because Rem prefers it and they always share

They once had a fight over trying to give the other the bigger part of a chocolate bar and their friends /violently/ wanted to push them into a kiss

this was inspired by "i shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled. shall i part my hair behind? do i dare to eat a peach?" (diamondmeadows, https://archiveofourown.org/works/61148488 ) on A03 and a TikTok I watched a LONG time ago

Remus who physically can’t handle how beautiful regulus is. Like it’s his chronic reaction to just lose years off of his life in contained crashing out every time he looks at him. Regulus will just be sitting there with his perfect face and perfect hair and perfect hands and then he reaches over to hold remus’ pinky with his own and Remus’ eye twitches and his insides explode because holy shit he’s so wonderful and he’s mine???
