The Deltarune release trailer dropped in today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, and we got a new newsletter and screenshots on the Steam page to top it all off! There's a lot to break down, so join me as I comb through everything to analyze and theorize what the new chapters hold!

So Sorry's creator was involved in an online cult called Flor/averse, which is heavily involved with zooph*lia and CSEM materials, among other things. They are an admin in the discord server and thus complicit in the goings on there. You can find out more here. We simply aren't comfortable keeping the character because of that and will probably have to make adjustments to other chapters eventually. NOTE: This is not an invitation to bring discourse to this blog. The ONLY reason I am mentioning this here is for transparency regarding the Battle of the Ages remaster.

Tbh, we're probably just gonna go with the Temmie idea because it's less jarring than having an OC wedged between the current roster. Temmie is an artist, so it works out.

... We can just replace So Sorry with a Temmie. Temmie village didn't appear, so... Huh. We'll have to figure out a script/sprites, but maybe that'd work?

The problem is mainly that the character appears in other scenes after (e.g. Victory Lap). Make no mistake, we don't condone the creator's actions. It's just a case of adapting an existing work and maintaining internal consistency. We'll probably add some kind of disclaimer, because there are legitimate issues. We just don't really have a suitable replacement, and removing the character would require a lot of changes to subsequent chapters that would be a difficult undertaking at this time (especially since we used the character's tablet as an example of technology Undyne provided to make dreams come true, thereby building to the contrast between Undyne as an antagonist and Undyne's compassion for monsterkind). While we're open to suggestions, I hope you can understand the complications with later pieces of IF material.

Ever since the summer newsletter, we've gotten consistent and detailed status updates for Deltarune, with the promise of a 2025 release date! Thanks to the checklist Toby laid out, we can see how far we are to the long-awaited chapters 3 and 4. So join me as I go over all these updates, the hype cycle surrounding them, and try to guess when it'll finally release!
We're still hard at work on the next update to the IF chapter pack, but in the meantime, here's a silly lil' video I did!

Inverted Fate's 9th anniversary arrives on March 8th, so as an early anniversary celebration, we're releasing the first demo for the brand new Interactive Chapter Pack!
This new fangame will contain brand new Game Maker versions of Inverted Fate battles and other segments, including Prime Time Turnabout and the long awaited Sans fight and date at a later date!
With a slick new UI featuring visuals by Soufon (also seen in the final interlude), there are a ton of cool new features to make this the most polished way to experience these chapters yet!
Our first demo features Asgore and Alphys, but stay tuned for more updates in the future!

Sad news. Phi, who you may know as the lead programmer on the playable Inverted Fate battles, is going through some very hard times financially and needs some help! My Undertale Yellow VOD had an issue with desync, so I went back and re-edited it to fix the problem! The old version is now unlisted. I'm hoping to get the rest of Pacifist up in the near future. However, it's a nine hour VOD, so I may have to split it into two.
Oops! Fixed version of this. Woulda gotten to it sooner, but the ADHD is real...

WAY overdue, here's part 1 of my original BLIND pacifist playthrough of Undertale Yellow, covering up to the fight with El Bailador. ...The second time, because I did an oopsie.
Finally got around to posting part 1 of the full Undertale Yellow vod. A lot of people have asked my thoughts on the game, but here is my intial reactions up to a very turbulent fight with El Bailador. xD The second vod is like nine hours, so uh. That may take some time to sort out, but I'll try to get to it when I can.
