Shin thinks that Heisuke's thoughts are nonsense. They border on incomprehensible, complete and utter gibberish, if Shin doesn't use the utmost mental effort to decipher the poorly drawn images that litter Heisuke's brain. Shin's opinion only solidifies after Heisuke starts dating you.
Now when Shin reads Heisuke's mind, his thoughts, more often than not, are littered with chibi images of you and the sniper. Shin's not sure what to make of most of the scenes painted in Heisuke's mind, but from what Shin can gather, it's things typical of couples β hand holding, hugging, going on dates, and what not. Shin doesn't care what Heisuke thinks of, but there's a time and a place for such thoughts. When you're in the middle of dealing with assassins who are trying to kill you is not the time nor place.
"Heisuke, focus! Stop thinking of your partner for once!" Shin pokes his head out from around a corner and shouts at Heisuke, who's stationed on a nearby rooftop. Shin lowly curses when a bullet nearly grazes the shell of his ear, quickly withdrawing behind the wall where he's taken cover.
"My bad, yo! I'll focus up now!" Heisuke yells back, yelping when a bullet whizzes past him. He scoops up his rifle, Piisuke soaring ahead, as he runs off the rooftop to find a new sniping spot now that his location has been blown.
Shin gives Heisuke's mind another read as the latter is on the move. A vein in Shinβs forehead becomes pronounced, the blood vessel nearly threatening to burst. Although Heisuke's thoughts are now centered on their problem at hand, crude drawings of the two of you still remain around the edges of his mind.
Shin just sighs. He admits defeat. It's a losing battle trying to get you off Heisuke's mind.
