this probably would've made the show worse but i wish in s6 when tara and willow are broken up and buffys all secretive because she's seeing spike and she covertly asks tara to help her work out why spike can hurt her they dragged that out for a little longer and the scooby gang suspect buffy is dating tara. this would not be approached with any tact at all. it would push the queer rights movement back by decades if anything. but it would've been very fun for me personally

I want to live in a different world.

Specifically I want to live in the world where in the year 2000 for the Angel ATS ep 1x18 the show told Eliza "you know how we told you to keep the lesbian subtext very SUB? forget all that. hell amp it up!"

And the show can even keep insisting (stupidly) that Fuffy isn't canon and not let Buffy and Faith make out. Fine. *stomps feet* Anyways let Faith make out with some other women. I mean Lilah is right there, with her back against the fence outside the club!

Sexuality Headcanon: bisexual!! She was always meant to be queer, they coded her so hard but never pulled through Gender Headcanon: I don't have one, CIS A ship I have with said character: Spike/Buffy, the OTP A BROTP I have with said character: beyond the obvious Xander-Willow-Buffy, I am very partial to the Cordy-Buffy friendship, I am still mad they didn't get to stay friends A NOTP I have with said character: Riley Finn, my beloathed A random headcanon: Buffy getting some actual funding for her Slayer network and getting to do that professional instead of having to get a day job General Opinion over said character: one of THE characters of all-time. I love her so so so much, she got everything. She got to be angry and make mistakes and fuck up and struggle and cry and be vulnerable, while still being an absolute paragon of strength and a badass. Too few female characters are allowed that range, they're STILL too often either tough as nails with no vulnerability to be found, or they're emotional. And too few protagonists get to make mistakes and hurt the people they love because too many writers are allergic to flaws even though humans ARE flawed and that is what makes the characters relatable and interesting. I love her, your honor
