I think something important to bring up to counter the defeatist attitude I’ve seen going around of “give up AI is inevitably going to take your art jobs” is a lack of awareness in the people making these claims. Most of them seem to not be in any sort of creative industry.

So here’s the thing. I work as a professional artist at a studio that regularly accepts art submissions from freelancers… and we REFUSE to use AI generated imagery. It’s even stated in our contracts and legal agreements.

We will not be taken advantage of by paying hundreds of dollars to AI prompters who use legally questionable means to “create” their submissions.

While many of us in the studio find AI to be ethically unsound, at the end of the day… it’s because AI is literally a LIABILITY. Avoiding it now will save us a lot of trouble and legal drama down the line.

It’s just common sense.

Ahhh thank you! Hehe you’re too kind! I would LOVE to go to your cafe (I'm a big tea drinker and love drawing while I sip and relax!) That means a lot! I’ve been receiving a few similar comments and it’s very flattering considering I didn’t even have any makeup/filters. >_< I more just wanted to get my thoughts out. I was a little nervous to show my face, but in the end I know if anyone really wanted to find me it wouldn’t be that hard (thanks social media /sar). So might as well just put it out there!

Old lady face reveal? I was going to make a long winded post on the Studio Ghibli AI drama but decided to do a video instead. I just think this is a point of discussion that needs bringing up. No hate to anyone using these programs. My beef is entirely with the people promoting and profiting from these programs. Thanks for listening!

Ahh! Thank you so much, that's so kind! I’ve worried if binging all of Replica might be too much of an emotional rollercoaster, but I’m so glad you liked it! These past few weeks have been very busy with my brother getting married, but I'm back now and about half-way done with the next update so everyone can expect to see it soon! Have my favorite drawing so far.

Yay! So grateful to have gotten a response from Tumblr Support (had to reach out via Twitter to get through to them but at least it worked)! While I don’t do this often I might reblog a few of my posts over the next few days so that they can get out to everyone properly.
