now her mother’s health has deteriorated even tho she has a heart device implanted and has been taking more medication all this time. she now requires surgery to replace the device. (the device is actually called a implantable cardioverter-defibrillator)
the war may have ended but the suffering of people in Gaza hasn't stopped!

@maimohssen-mh's mother desperately needs a new ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator), as her old one is not working properly anymore. The device costs around $25,000 and so far Mai has only been able to raise $6,535.
ICD's are used in patients who are at risk for sudden cardiac death due to ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
