𓂃 angie is to me what aunt lottie is to my mom. she’s always there for me, she’s my confident and my best friend. somehow she always knows what i’m thinking without me telling her. every time my mom works us relentlessly in her restaurant, she never complains. she’ll listen to me rant about it and say that she personally enjoyed it.

𓂃 i had a hard time adjusting to auradon when i arrived. of course it was only a matter of weeks before i met angie, evie, ben, carlos, megan and everyone. i’d say that what connects me to my friends are the memories we share. i remember the afternoons swimming in the enchanted lake, the spa sessions in the dorms, the parties…similarly, everyone knows that my mom’s cooking is one of the best in the entirety of auradon and that’s one of the ways my mom tried to connect with me. unluckily for her, i’m more musically and artistically inclined like my dad. i’ve been obsessed with playing guitar since i can remember & dancing (in all forms, i’ve done hip-hop, classical..). my brother for one, is like my mom, obsessed with cooking.

𓂃 i don’t want to seem too in love with my best friend, so i’m gonna say it’s my boyfriend. ben just has a way about him. it’s not hopeful optimism or being naive, he’s one of the smartest people i know. no, ben makes all of his choices diligently. at worst, it’s absolute hell for him, he’ll torture himself trying to find the greatest solutions to solve a pirates feud or something. at best, for my own benefit, it’s the thing i love most about him. he makes me feel cared for in a way that i’ve never experienced. he is always so observant and will remember the smallest of details. and it’s not just me, it’s also details about my family, the things i tend to forget to do (cuz i forget a lot of stuff), things i’ve been meaning to do but couldn’t for some reason. it’s exactly what i need in a partner and ben has been doing this AND MORE. i walk lighter and life is a lot brighter knowing he’s there for me in this way. and when shit happens, we handle it together…most of the time… (i try to take care of it before he can since i don’t want him to feel like he has too much on his plate. ik he’ll be king one day but imma always be there supporting him!!)
