🚨 Writer Sign-Up Cap Announcement - HPWLWRSB

Hi everyone! We’re thrilled by the excitement and support for the HP WLW Reverse Bang — thank you so much to everyone who’s signed up so far!

To help us stay balanced and make sure all our artists are supported, we’re temporarily capping writer sign-ups at 30.

Right now, we have a limited number of artists, and we want to make sure each one gets the love and collaboration they deserve.

We also know that life happens, and some folks may have to drop out — so we’re being mindful of pacing and numbers.

✨ What’s next?

We’ll open up calls for pinch hitters in May if needed.

If we end up with enough artists to match with more writers, we’ll reopen writer sign-ups at that time!

Reminder-there's no minimum or maximum word count, just do what you can enjoy and complete. Reach out to me (Lasers) at any point if you feel stuck, we don't want anyone to feel stressed!

Either art or written work is accepted to fill a prompt, and if none of these prompts call to you, you can self prompt and do not need to disclose your idea unless you want to. Final work will be due June 25, posted by YOU! straight to AO3, but an extension will be provided if needed.

Following our server rules, Up to Some Good the only restrictions are no sexual content for characters under age 14 and no AI generated work! Feel free to join us there, if you are over the age of 17, either for the fest or general tomarrymort community!

**PROMPTING IS NOW OPEN!**

All prompts must be identified as one of the three accepted fest tropes: angst, fluff, or hurt/comfort.

**NEW FOR 2025** "Untagged" Option! This year, we are asking prompts to be identified as tagged, untagged or 'surprise me'. Please note if you select the untagged or 'surprise me' option, the claimant may submit creations with limited or no additional tags, and may choose NOT TO USE major archive warnings.

Submit as many prompts as you like. You don’t have to create for the fest to submit a prompt. Self prompts are allowed. There will be space on the claiming form to add details for self prompts.

Prompting closes May 2.

Claiming & Submitting fest works

Hiya Harryglots! I have a small update regarding claiming and submitting works.

Claiming

After some debating I decided to scratch claiming altogether since it's too much of a hassle. What does it mean for you? You're not filling in any forms to claim the fic. You write a fic for whatever prompt you chose, and you don't need to inform me what you've picked.

Submitting fest works

When your work is done, please submit it to the collection and fill out the submission form. The submission deadline is June 10th. If you need an extension, please contact me either via Tumblr message box or at lilinsanegoat[at]gmail.com.

🦉 There’s only one week left before the fest’s start!

HP Animagi Week 2025 will start on April 7th, 2025. 

For the participants who already started on a WIP, or those of you currently editing their completed works, good job! There are still a few days left for you to work on your submission.

As for the curious people stumbling on this post only now, welcome! Feel free to go take a look at the Tumblr’s pinned post to learn more about this event.

I’d like to remind everyone that the fest’s AO3 collection will stay open until April 17th, 2025 so you’ll be able to submit a late entry if you want. However, I will not be accepting any new works into the collection past that date.

A second note and then I’ll leave you be: just like last year, I’ll be sharing Tumblr posts daily during the event. These posts will serve as an official announcement for the day’s prompt, but will also contain a few tropes and ideas in case you find yourself in need of last-minute inspiration.
