Except Remus is ankward and quiet when not around friends, he's too tall like he grew up too fast and doesn't know what to do with this extra height, his scars scare people away, he wears grandpa sweaters, drinks tea in his free time and goes to sleep at 9 pm, he can't flirt for the life of him (even though he could bc he's witty and sarcastic) because he has no self-confidence and it shows.
He's basically a loser (affectionate) and Sirius is like "it's okay, no need to panic, he's the sexiest man on earth but that's just an astute observation, no gay thoughts here"

“X ruined the fandom” is not a sentence I want to hear anyone saying. No fic, no headcanon or anything else ruined the fandom. There’s no ruined.
It’s changed and evolved and popular tropes and characterizations have changed but you have no obligation to accept or consume those changes. All the old content still exists if you choose to find it and you can choose to create your own too if it bothers you that much. I feel like in a fandom as big as the marauders sometimes y’all forget you have free will. No one is forcing you to accept or consume what’s popular. You can read other fics, you can interact with and create other content. If you want a different interpretation that badly, do it yourself!!
Instead of hating on things just appreciate what you DO like, it’s so simple actually.
