I wanted to revamp my designs for the kiddy’s that I originally sent to @quitealotofsodapop

The kids often invade Wukong’s bed. Thunder sleeping by his head stealing his pillow while more often then not he gets kicked and/or punched by Savage when she’s asleep. Meanwhile Rumble, his darling little girl, gives him a heart attack because she sleeps likes in a coffin.

Their sunset, daytime and sunrise themes persist.

Savage’s takes on PIF’s color palette and gets as close to her outfit as Wukong will allow with her own personal flare of course.

Thunder tied his hair back with a red ribbon now a days, taking inspo from Mk but too nervous to outright copy the way Mk ties his bandana. His color palette also taken from Wukong and Mk’s designs!

Rumble looks up to Ne Zha, he just wears a pink shirt with a lotus design, he tried the red scarf type thing but Wukong nearly chocked on a peach when he did so he sticks with the pink shirt.

They all have purple ears as they can hear the present but only Thunder can hear all that far or into the future. Rumble and Savage just have enhanced hearing compared to Thunder’s Future and Present hearing.

Savage is the most rambunctious of the three while Rumble is the loudest, with her footsteps and voice. Thunder is the quietest, often moving more like a shadow than his sisters.

And I do love super Mama's boy Thunder!!

Wukong has been the victim of many bedtime sneak attacks. The cubs are still in the "crawling into bed to be with parent" age.

Thunder is the biggest mama’s boy, constantly on Wukong’s back while Rumble and Savage like to run around.

After hearing so many love sick stories from your mama, you’d think his husband and your father would be more intelligent. It seems that the triplets now know why Wukong is called ‘The intelligent Stone Monkey’ as Macaque is firmly placed in the stupid category in their little minds.

Macaque rolls nat 1s on everything whenever he looks at the triplets. He could figure out that Mk was Wukong’s successor but not that the Triplets are his kids despite them all looking more like him than Wukong.

The lovely triplets, the darling babies, want to hit their father with a found object. But they cannot, because it would make mama sad. Well atleast the girls want to hit him, Thunder just wants to cry whenever Macaque gets to close.

Macaque throughout this AU be like:

I'm just imagining this dragging on throughout the seasons. Macaque keeps rolling nat 1s on intelligence, seeing Wukong in every motion the triplets make and absolutely boiling with jealousy with the lucky jackass who got Wukong to have kids with him and then apparently abandoned them.

He adores the kids, why wouldn't he, but he really wants to have a word with the jackass before stealing his kids.

Rumble: “mama you have really bad taste in men”

Wukong, thunking his head against his desk: “I can see that.”

Like, I'm imagining Wukong thinks Macaque knows these are his kids, but they're just dancing around the subject because centuries of bad communication.

But then Macaque refuses to believe that these kids- these beautiful children, these children with Wukong's eyes and curls and characteristics- are his and Wukong starts wondering...

Does Macaque... not want these children? Does he know? Does he just not care and this is his way of disowning them?

This is definitely gonna boil over into a fight.

Wukong decided to keep the triplets away from Macaque, even in group settings he keeps himself between Macaque and his kids. The girls openly scowl at him while Thunder hides. A fight is definitely brewing and gods is it going to be an explosion.

Tang and Pigsy even start to run interference, keeping Macaque away from the triplets even you going as far as to swipe up the kids and take them away from Macaque.

Pigsy ushering Thunder behind the counter to teach him some cooking skill as soon as Macaque enters the restaurant. Was he in the middle of something else? None of your business.

Tang taking the girls hands and asking if they want to learn some fun stories about Ne Zha or PIF ultimately taking them to his study to keep Macaque from getting close.

Sandy thinks they should give Macaque a shot but knows it’s not up to him so he goes along with Wukong’s wishes to never let Macaque to close to the kids

Wukong never told the kids his theories but even they can see that Macaque is denying that they look like him. ie: saying that he doesn’t want them. They know Wukong misses Macaque, they’ve seen the paintings in their Mama’s art studio, they’re comforted that Wukong would never choose Macaque over them. He reassures them that no one comes before them when Thunder asks.

It’s prob during the memory scroll that Macaque gets a metaphorical gut punch cause ‘oh shit, those ARE my kids” and Mk facepalms next to him.

What is surprising to them is that the kids are only 200ish years old at most. But strangely Wukong was pregnant (in my own hc idea of it) during the JTTW. Mk puts it together that the triplets aren’t the first kid Wukong had.

When they (by they i mean MK asks while Macaque hid behind the corner) ask the kids later Savage bluntly tells them “yeah we had a big brother, but when Mr Bull started breaking a bunch of stuff Heaven realized that Big Brother existed and stole him. We don’t know where he is. That’s why Mama didn’t leave home for so long.” (The big brother is Mk :) )

You know what’s funny? I can really see even the Camel Ridge Trio (mainly Azure) just looking at Macaque like he’s the biggest idiot in all of the realms (which he probably is) after he says the triplets aren’t his. Like, this is a joke, right?

Azure: You’re joking.

Macaque: What? They’re not mine!

Azure: You’ve told some bad jokes before, brother but this is really bad.

MK: He generally thinks they’re not his.

Azure: (Shocked) Seriously? They look like him and they have features that no one else in the realms has.

And to add, i have a hc: the triplets call Wukong Mama in “human” as they’ve grown up in a matriarchal society, Wukong being the first king in history as all the previous rulers where Queens with consorts or husbands. But never had a king in power. The twins didn’t really know what mama ment when introduced to the word but they knew it’s what you call a feminine way to call a parent. But they didn’t realize it was gendered, they see woman in charge of most things and think Mama just means the boss parent. Hence Mama Wukong.
