Yooo guys its been a few months??
I haven't really had much art I've been doing lately that feels postable? The novel is still in the works but a close family member had brain surgery at the beginning of the month and to keep a long story short I'm just trying to stay above water like everyone else and keep my mental health in check to the best of my current ability!
Anyway, just popping into the one social media site I (occasionally) use now, to keep yall updated a bit! Once I have things worth posting I'll post em. Soon I'm going to have a few new things on my etsy shop and I'll probably post photos of those whenever I can sit down to work on the listings.
Stay strong yall <3
Hey I just finished writing chapter 11 of the book I've been working on <3
That's why I've been so quiet
It's been so nice to get my writing passions back!
everything else is sorta on pause right now because of it, partly because with everything going on in my life right now I really needed something fresh to focus on
And specifically something related to learning to fight against impossible odds
I played around with my watercolor brushes for this one. Yall know most of my art is very bright and vibrant, but the Vulture story is particularly dark? So I wanted to experiment with an almost muddy looking painted style to fit the atmosphere. You know, muddy blacks and weird vivid reds, all that.
I'm both happy with it and not happy with it. It's very outside my norm so I have no clue on my feelings.
Oh well, hopefully yall will still like it! Enjoy!
Okay the new version isnt finished, but I was a little unhappy with the last one and sat down to rethink my direction. I pulled up some old art from the 1300s, specifically about the black death and tried out crosshatching instead. I also redid the lineart to look a bit more messy. Obviously the background isnt done yet, but THIS feels so much better to me, far less muddy and much more in line with the story.
The more I write it the darker it gets, sorry folks

Hi folks! Sorry I've been a bit awol lately! Holidays and all that. Also I've been going through a bit of a digital detox and I've been feeling INCREDIBLE because of it. It's making me feel more free. Makes me want to step back from the internet even more. I've gotten much more physically active, I've been working out and reading books and learning to cook... developing my own novel that I've been wanting to do for years! MAN. It's been really nice.
I don't have any plans to just stop Something Wonderful and not continue it, but it might be a while before the next post!
Alright yall, I've spent a few weeks replaying Pokemon Arceus as my coping mechanism, and now I'm gonna start pushing that aside and focusing on the Winter King comic again! Thanks everyone for your patience, I have to keep reminding myself that comics aren't a sprint, they're a marathon, and do too much too quickly also burns you out!
I've also been spending time brainstorming my Vulture story but I gotta reign that back in if I plan on getting anything else done lol
Where is her award? She stayed in character for that whole thing!
She slipped a tiny bit near the end, but if you didn't know what was going on you wouldn't have caught it. 10/10 high quality spousal shenanigans
she straight up villain laughed!
The fixed books have finally arrived, so it is now on sale! Only $20 for the first 3 chapters, 120 pages of the story!
