What are some things that you dislike or hate abt EPIC?

Oomph— okay people, these are my personal takes! And just know things are gonna get a bit heated. (Also!, I’d like to hear what you all dislike or hate about epic/the fandom aswell!)

Warning ⚠️: Hot takes.

Okay I’ll talk about Epic the musical as the musical itself, and then the fandom because they also help make up Epic.

Eurylochus and Telemachus sparring? (Not in a ship sort of way, in a sort of “favorite uncle and really annoying little shit of a nephew who won’t leave him alone” sort of way)

it’d be awesome if you did this, thank you!!

Sparring!

There is a drainage on EuryOdy art because the last one posted on Tumblr was on March 17th.

Please heed our desperate calls and, if not much trouble, draw a scene from the Odyssey where Eurylochus kisses Odysseus' knees sobbing (OG Greek + Eng translation below:

But I counted off separately all the well-armored companions, And made a division, with a leader placed in charge of both: I led one group, and Eurylochus, godlike, led the other. Quickly we tossed the lots in a bronze helmet: And the lot of the great-hearted Eurylochus fell. He started to go, and with him twenty-two companions, Weeping as they went: we remained behind, wailing in sorrow. […] Eurylochus came swiftly back to the dark ship, Bringing news of our comrades' fate, and their ill end. He could not speak, his heart weighed down with grief; Tears filled his eyes, and his spirit groaned in sorrow. But when at last we all gathered around him, He told of the doom that befell the others: "We went, just as you ordered, through the forest, glorious Odysseus, We found a fine house in the glade, built with smooth stones, Where someone was singing a song, a large loom beside her, Either a goddess or a woman. She called to us, And she quickly came out, opening the shining doors, And called us inside. All of us followed in ignorance, But I stayed behind, suspecting a trap. The rest of them entered, and none of them returned. I sat alone, watching for a long time." Thus he spoke. But I, I took my silver-hilted sword and heavy bronze shield, and put on my bow. Then I ordered him to show us the way. He took my hands and kissed my knees, Weeping, and spoke these winged words to me: "Do not take me unwillingly, son of Zeus, but leave me here. I know you won't come back, nor will any of your men, But with these others we'll escape the evil fate that's upon us." Thus he spoke, and I replied, "Eurylochus, you stay here, feasting and drinking in the hollow by the black ship; I will go on, for great necessity presses on me."

...Please.

Of course my starving anon…

I made this really really cutesy 😆

AAAAA I LOVE THE WAY YOU DRAW TELEMACHUS. It makes me want to give him a flower bouquet and a motivational letter. I also love how you made Tele have 2 different eye colors, that's so cutee!!!

Thank you!

Fun fact! I draw Odysseus and Telemachus with heterochromia, but their colors switch sides!

Okay I know this is kind of a weird question (love the designs btw!) but if they were to switch eyes to have a matching set.. who's picking what colour?

I feel like Telemachus would have blue eyes, and Odysseus would have brown? I feel it fits their palettes.

You got me on euryody I'm afraid😔 (I love it so much please continue)

Hehe~ happy Valentine’s Day! (It’s late ik lol) this took all day so uh… yeah! Enjoy! {Also welcome new Euryody fan >:)}

“An apple for My King”

I also like to think they’d tease eachother with letters, how they’d deliberately write down eachothers names….

Specifically Eurylochus started it first by writing “my dearest, Odysseus.

“In a letter I received from you two weeks ago I noticed a comma in the middle of a phrase. It changed the meaning, did you intend this? One stroke and you've consumed my waking days It says,

"My dearest, Odysseus"

With a comma after dearest…

You've written,"My dearest, Odysseus"

(And yes this is a Hamilton reference that’s been eating away at my brain these last few weeks lol)
