lyra was the type to have CRAZY birthday parties. i dont know her financial situation from when she was younger, but no matter what kind of money they had they always went all out, even if it was just with homemade things. because her parties were always so loud or chaotic, the police have had to show up a couple times. lyra defo tells stories of her birthday parties and turns to grayson like, “lol how many of UR parties have been crashed by the police??” and graysons like “none?? 🤨🤨🤨”

yall i was looking again and im sad to report that the only glorious rivals epubs/pdfs that are floating the internet are just fake websites that are DEFINITELY just going to give me bugs and viruses 😭😭😭

i feel like its so much harder to find glorious rivals’ pdf then it was to find tggs because this book is SO MUCH MORE HIDDEN!!! like if not for amazon, we would know so much less about it then we did for the grandest game 😭 so i think im gonna take that as a sign that i should preorder it for my kindle soon, bc this pdf is NAWT coming anytime soon

okay so no i dont have glorious rivals yet but i just wanted to say that i am SEEING all these lyra kane takes that are honestly just… sad, and want to reiterate my user

LYRAKANEfanatic. I AM GOING TO GO TO WAR FOR THIS GIRL!!!!

i know that people are entitled to their own opinions. but i ALSO know that opinions tend to say a LOT about people. so it kind of irks me when people hate lyra and then like… other characters

im not going to get too crazy about this bc glorious rivals hasnt come out yet so i just need to be patient. and i actually am starting to like all parties involved with this lyra plotline where some people are lowkey beefing so NO i am not just defending lyra

anyways glorious rivals plot aside, one thing i wanted to say is how BADLY i get annoyed when people let all the crazy shit that other characters do slide and then go CRAZY over the fact that lyra didn’t like the hawthornes. LIKE OOMMMGGGGG 😭😭😭😭😭

im not even going to bring up all the hawthornes who need to catch this fade and yet are still forgiven for their actions bc then this would be a long post but like… of all things to hate a character for, you pick a one sided pettiness??

but the part that gets me about all of this is that people just LIKE to dislike characters who have done virtually nothing. and i understand opinions obv. but to reiterate my point, it says a lot more about u then u think if u dislike a character bc she was petty for the first 10 chapters of her book whilst simultaneously loving a character who decided to take his sweet time when watching a girl get blown up

(but still, feel however u want about any kind of characters. this is just a prewarning that i am going to crash tf out if i see any posts circulating this app on TRASH takes on lyra kane)

edit: yall this is like post number 7 where i made a hella controversial post bc i just happened to see something annoying at night time… the beast gets unleashed in me at the later hours 🐺🐺

but to clarify, u can dislike lyra kane. all im saying is to remember how double standards work. if u find yourself hating a woman for the same things (OR LESS) a man does, that could either be unimportant, or it could heavily apply. take some time to reflect inward: do you hate them for genuine reasons, or because booktok (and society) has shamed women for having the same characteristics and flaws as a man might?
