It's not that you become utterly oblivious to what is cool as you age. But once you turn like 30 you discover that cringe can be weaponised. You figure out how to deliberately compose a sentence that will make every under-20-year-old's internal organs scrunge from just hearing it, like you just cast a wizard spell.

If you’re writing anything besides smut or angst, you’re probably scrambling for a crumb of interaction. I see posts of people complaining about the over-saturation of smut and unhappy endings in fandoms almost every day. Yet, smut seems to get a lot of engagement (I wrote a fic about morning head and it garnered more attention in a matter of days than anything I’ve shared here) despite the posts rejecting it.

This is not a dig at anyone who writes the above—I write both religiously, sometimes together in the same story. However, we don’t get to complain about the lack of something if we’re not supporting it. Many talented writers here give us exactly what we want (fluff, comedy, romance, horror), but some switch gears or leave altogether because they feel their efforts are for naught. And not everyone wants to write sad porn all the time.

I am once again imploring you to support your favorite writers, reblog your favorite stories, and maybe drop a comment now and again. People aren’t mind readers, and they haven’t a clue how much you enjoy their one obscure story unless you tell/show them.

I have read everyone's ASKs and Yes! The entire premise of Caleb’s new Event is just a repurposed rip-off from the Lightseeker Myth.

The premise of traveling and exploring different planets as well as discovering a small planet with life..with nothing but flowers blooming on it (LITERALLY ULURU)

And yes, there's several more discrepancies like the obvious fact that the thematic colors of the event DO NOT match the deep blue and orange tones associated with Caleb (which btw are still being used in the official posts for Caleb's new myth but not the event).

Plus the fact that the planets are surrounded by flowers that literally resemble Forget-me-nots and look nothing like Caleb's official flowers.

Xavier and Caleb sharing the space and sci-fi themes is NOT an issue but when you look at all these factors of planets, colors, travel, even certain rephrased dialogues,..then it becomes very obvious what PG did. And it will happen to every LIs at some point unless we complain collectively and stop them now.

Lastly, I've been very active and vocal about it on my twitter account @tailor-0f-chaos so check that out for more active updates.

Majority of CN Xavier wives and Global Xav Wives have complained to CS with their complaints being ignored and a new merch line being thrown at us to distract us.

A well-known leaker even confirmed that it was a scrapped event for Xavier that has been repurposed due to time constraints put on the creative team.

Currently, some Caleb stans who took this as an offense upon themselves and Caleb (instead of understanding that this is about PG's lack of integrity), attacked the VIP CS in CN to stop this from spreading further.

As such, someone from VIP CS said that the Xavier stans claims are "false" and THREATENED if we talk about this further but gave no concrete proof to support their claims.

So tell me? If someone is running a business by selling false products, and you confront them about it, will they outright tell you that their products are fake? NO.

This is exactly what PG is doing.

You can keep denying and doubling down but it won't change what's obviously evident to everyone.

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset

  • the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
  • taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
  • at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
  • 'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
  • it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
  • it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
  • you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
  • young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
  • there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

“if you have nowhere to go,

nowhere to rest your weary self..

..you can stay with me.”
