Nothing in honor of April Fools' Day, just a couple of notes on plots for a fanfic episode.
1. Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Their Kids' Camping Trip. The friends were preparing for their annual camping trip, but this time they decided to bring their kids along. Manon, despite being a little nervous about meeting new people, agreed to join the camping trip.
While camping, Manon, Goofy's son Max, and Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie get into trouble (presumably getting stuck in caves?). While the fathers of the year (no joke) look for ways to save the kids, the kids try to work together to get out of trouble on their own.
This whole adventure leads to Manon finding a common language with Max and the triplets. And after learning about the Junior Woodchucks, she gets excited about joining the Scout headquarters in Mouseton.
2. The Prince and the Journalist. A plot that combines the plot of "The Prince and the Pauper" and the comic strip about Mickey Mouse and the Prince of Medioca. The point is that this very prince comes to Mouseton on important (possibly financial?) business. Due to the fact that he rarely appears in public, an interview with this prince is almost worth all the gold.
However, the prince manages to notice his exact copy, Mickey, among the journalists. And, as in the cartoon, the prince draws Mickey into a game of substitution and dressing up, thus getting the opportunity to take a little rest from royal worries. Perhaps, there will be attempts by the antagonists to harm the prince, taking advantage of the case with the substitution. But, as usual, everything will end well, the bad guys will be imprisoned, and Mickey will have an exclusive material for the newspaper.
And Manon is missing from this episode. The reason: a week-long hike with the Junior Woodchucks.
I've long wanted to share my thoughts about these two plots.

Mickey Mouse in Anchor's Aweigh! I made this last year for Instagram's daily "Disember" Art Challange, hosted by Amanda Macfarlane (theanimatedlife), Lauren Banger (lb.illustrates) & Whitley Pollett. This prompt was "Live Action/Animation Hybrid" and I knew I wanted to try this! In 1946, Walt Disney was approached by the producers of MGM who were wanting a cartoon character to appear alongside Gene Kelly in a live action and animation sequence where Gene teaches them to dance, and their choice of character was going to be Mickey! Walt was interested in the idea and was up for it, until his brother Roy ultimately said no to the idea, this was due to the Walt Disney Company needing to focus on their own movies and stay afloat financially after the end of the war, they couldn't help with other studio film companies at the time. In the end, it was MGM's own Jerry Mouse that danced with Gene instead. This scene has become so famous in the years that followed, and is considered an early example of the "Roger Rabbit effect!" Ever since I heard about this story, I always wanted to know what it would look like if Mickey was in this movie, it's already such a beautiful and wholesome sequence that if Mickey was dancing with Gene Kelly it would make my heart burst! ❤️ Mickey's looks and colour palette were directly inspired by his short cartoons in the 40's, such as "The Pointer" and "Mr Mouse Takes a Trip" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." I made great effort to replicate and capture his authenticity, and I'm really proud of the result!

1. Did Moony really lose her eye?
2. Was Strelitzia inspired by Aeolus?
3. All four girls live in a cartoon world, with Mickey and Oswald, right?
4. Besides Sunny, do any of the girls know Mickey, Oswald, or any of the other gang?
5. Do any of them know Yen Sid?
6. Do the girls know each other? If so, how do they interact with each other?
Oh my gosh I am so happy to see these questions! Alright lemme break em down!!! (They’re all wonderful btw :DD)
1. Technically no. They do still have their eye, but after succumming to the darkness (in the war… that’s a story for another time) their left eye was damaged by [REDACTED] as a sign that now they belong to darkness. So now they wear an eyepatch to cover it up, preventing it from taking over their entire body. (I’ll probably later on make them take it off who knows :P)
2. AND YEP! Strelitzia was inspired by Aeolus! Specifically Giulia Toneatto’s design in Epic the Musical 🩵 (good catch on that ;) )
3. Only Sunny! While Sunny lives in the cartoon world (and Wasteland). The other three live in different realms/worlds. Example, Strelitzia lives in the cloud Kingdom (cause she’s the princess there), Estrella lives in the Star Kingdom (somewhere up spaces almost :0) and Looni…. Well we don’t know yet haha! (I haven’t touched were they’ll live but I’m sure I’ll come up with it soon. For all you need to know however is that they used to live in the Moon kingdom, before it got destroyed)
4. They haven’t met Mickey and Oswald! At least not yet…👀
5. Nope, Sunny has heard about him from Mickey (but never met tho)
6. And oh for sure they know each other!! In fact Sunny, Strelitzia and Estrella are all very best friends with each other. Looni is their friend of course. But their past and relationship as of now is a bit messy (can’t blame them considering they were trying to stop all three of them before), so now they’re trying to redeem themselves after the mess they did. Sunny and Looni are both that do not get along well the most (but eventually will earn each other respect. Not sure about friends)

One of Lacy's hobbies was basketball.
When Lacy's class started learning how to throw and serve the ball, Lacy liked it so much that she convinced her parents to enroll her in the basketball section. In the near future, Lacy will start playing for her school's team, and by her senior year, she will become the captain of this team.
