hey its me beef

I recently had a number people start following this blog and it just turned one year old so I feel motivated to set up a proper introduction post B)

to give you the rundown: I'm a beef who likes to make silly art. I like cartoons and nintendo and probably some other things too. I could probably talk a lot about legend of zelda

I'm learning to manage my RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria), but sometimes it's still hard for me to respond to things or post publicly. If I'm ever quiet for extended periods of time I promise I'm not upset or trying to ignore, I am just a beast that tends to lurk

on that note feel free to send me messages or asks any time- when people show interest in my thoughts it makes my entire day!

but!! always remember, it’s important for you to share your thoughts and feelings with your friends. they care and want to listen just as much as you want to listen to them. trust that they’ll establish a boundary when they need to, and don’t take it personally when they do- that’s a cool and normal part of every healthy relationship!

this comic is a lie and a farce bc I don’t even make it to the 2 day mark before some primal part of my brain has decided I have Bothered and Upset you and the only atonement is Banishment

but remember!! that’s just a silly part of your brain that is likely trying to protect you from some kind of trauma you may have faced. your friends love and care about you, they are just their own people with busy lives! trust that they inherently enjoy the fact that you’re thinking about them in some way! just because someone isn’t actively responding to your presence doesn’t mean they don’t value it
