Where is my description? Oh wait, here it is. Nothing makes sense here. Also, please do not reupload/use my artwork or original uploads, thanks! (Sorry I do NOT do requests, I will draw whatever whenever.)

To keep something very clear:

My Castlevania works are not related to Netflixvania at all.

I strongly dislike that adaptation, and am very uncomfortable with the thought of what I draw for this series being grouped alongside it. Moreso, I am not interested in any discussion on NFCV period, please keep that topic to your own spaces and away from mine.

While I cannot stop you from interpreting my work as you wish, I can keep you from looking at it if I were to find out.

Thanks for your understanding.

Have you ever played any of the indie spiritual successors to Mega Man like 20XX or Gunvolt?

I only have so much time and attention on my hands, so I've never personally dabbled into Mega-like games. I only know them through recognition of their main characters, and not much else I'm afraid. ^^;

I love your Juno drawings! You make him look both handsome and intimidating at the same time. It's great seeing more art of this obscure character I have recently grown to love.

Thank you so much for feed us more of him ❤️

Thank you kindly!

Honestly, I never considered at first that Juno was an obscure character. But I guess I was conflating the fondness people have for Legends with how many people may recognize/care about him. I should've realized that sooner, given how little things I had to work with through a simple Google Search of this guy. I even had to resort to a fan blog and YT vids for more sources, like I've never had to dig so deep for things on a character like this in a long while, it's fascinating.

All this kind of happened on such a whim, I'm even surprised with how much I've drawn. But again, I'm not complaining. ^-^

-"Dreaming" Mechanical Doll-

I cannot believe I have somehow been drawing this evil man for three months straight. I had this growing need to redraw a sketch I did of Juno near the very start of the year, and so I'm doing just that.

I've grown up with a fascination for robots, and there's this particular beauty in seeing them "at rest". So of course, watching Juno awake from his chamber, so cold yet pristine for such a dangerous machine, reminded me of that feeling (and only drew me more to his design). So I felt as if I absolutely had to properly reproduce this image, and especially that lovely sleeping face that I can't stop staring at.

(Oh and it's in color too, that's definitely new.)

I think I needed a change of pants and lungs around near end of Switch 2 Direct, oh myY gOOOOOOODDDDD https://youtu.be/qeTehuxhgp0

( b^ ,^)b My friend, what a Direct that was!

The trailer had quite the build-up that's for sure, I had no idea it could've been Air Ride (2) until those jets popped up! I' a'm very happy that it wasn't a new Smash; as someone who's into that series I feel it ended just soundly for me. And honestly, good for Mr. Sakurai to be working on this. I hope it all goes well when it's released! ^^

Re:Initialization

So while I had joked lightly that in NxC both Volnutt and Juno are experiencing amnesia, I think I figured out how the latter ended up with it. It's implied that the Legends characters are from some point after the end of the first game, and that Meio brought back Juno somehow. Even if we were to assume some traces of Juno's data made it to Eden, his body was still destroyed. So it's possible this lead to some complications in putting him back together.

Does that sound familiar?

This all started because I wanted to do better in drawing Juno's sleeping face and it kinda spiraled from there. I won't apologize.

So there appears to be something wrong with my memory, as I revisited NxC's script and realized I forgot exactly what Juno said regarding his memory loss.

When he said his memory was "completely erased" I thought it was by random circumstance due to his revival by Meio. But it turns out that later on (during a part I nodded off to 'cause it was late at night), Juno refers to Meio as "the one who affected my recovery"-- and Volnutt even perks at that word, "affected".

This is still makes this comic work, but... It added something else to it.

"...What the hell are you smiling about?"

I don't have any real context for these-- the only objective one being I am rummaging through Juno's things in NxC because I didn't think to do that until a week ago and got stuck looking at him for hours. (And I thought he only had three expressions, so that's why.)

The shot isn't 100% clear, I made it out to be a small grin. And the way it is makes me think that Juno is waiting for someone to realize he blew up their house while they were away, or something.

I guess there's the "context" for you.

And then there's like a silly doodle on the bottom. Cut-off once again, but his hands turned out very uneven so you don't need to see that.

considering both trevor and soma are survivors together in dbd, what do you think trevors opinions on him are? this random teenager from the future who is apparently a reincarnation of dracula would probably be very startling for him

I've been asked several times about what I think the Belmonts' opinions are of Soma. And after a while, I think they wouldn't always jump to conclusions about ("like a baddy" = "baddy") as easily as some people seem to believe. Wary maybe, but I don't think Trevor would immediately go for the neck just because Soma is part Dracula or anything. And who knows what Trevor's first impression of Alucard-- the show does not count to me as a source of reference-- but after their battle, the two would become close friends.

Additionally, Julius expressed some disbelief while also understanding his bloodline's role to stopping Dracula when he found out about Soma's "true" identity.

Maybe if Trevor comes to learn about Soma's powers and ties, he may hear him out. I think it mainly depends on how exactly the two meet, like if Trevor were to see him first as Soma, if that makes sense.

yeah i looked up soma on ur blog to make sure no one has asked about this in a dead by daylight specific context but i understand the frustration of receiving an ask like this, i apologize 😭

There's no need to apologize. Honestly, a part of why this is such a tough question for me is because I personally don't work that much with Soma to really give a response that I feel is meaningful enough.

So I answered rather generally about any potential interaction between him and the rest of the bloodline. I guess given the situation of DbD, survival is a priority. So Trevor would find it more important to cooperate with this new form of Dracula who than to snuff him out, which especially makes sense for Trevor knowing how he succeeded in his time thanks to the bonds he formed with Grant, Sypha, and Alucard. So why would Soma be any different?

I'm sure he'd want to make it out of there in one piece too.

Perhaps this is a more topical answer than what I had above, but again, I'm never so sure if I can give a proper response on this guy. ;;

De:Fragmentation

And now by the demand of only myself, I finally got to drawing out Juno's second and final death in Namco X CAPCOM. While I had the shots so clear in my mind, Juno's in particular came out so messy, but you could say it makes sense as he's in literal shambles.

Of course I wanted to do this because the exchange between all three characters is so intriguing, especially Roll's continued confusion with being left in the dark about everything presented to her (by Volnutt).

I also have a tiny bit of the end of that same chapter when the group sends Eden off Laputa-style. The words that Volnutt (is translated to) say was something I wasn't expecting but wow did they stick with me.

There's this particular feeling I'm trying to capture when I think about Juno's eyes (not in battle), so I did another sketch based on that one NxC comic I did a while back. (For effect, I loved how that one close-up shot came out, but I kinda wished I was able to draw more of him.)

It could also be due to the choice of color or so, but Juno's eyes make him seem very docile. Like the rest of his face, they're soft and round, so to keep that feeling I wanted to draw them as lightly as possible. And yet, being a machine, I keep his pupils extremely pin-point.

So then, like the rest of Juno's body, there's this little mix of delicate and dangerous mixed into them. Or so I'd like to see it that way.

Now take a good look because you will never see them open again.
