Given the destruction of most of the Viltrumite race at the hands of the Scarlet Witch! Reader, it would make sense that the Viltrumite empire would face a massive crisis. With so many of their warriors and leaders gone, there would undoubtedly be pressure to repopulate the species to ensure the survival of their empire. This could take a variety of forms, including forcing reproduction among the remaining Viltrumites or possibly finding new methods to create new soldiers. However, since the Viltrumites are a militaristic society, their focus would likely be on rebuilding their strength rather than the well-being of the survivors. They would view their species’ survival as a necessary priority above all else.

As for Nolan and the other Viltrumites, they would almost certainly be furious with Y/N for what she did. From their perspective, she decimated their ranks and endangered their survival. In their eyes, the death of so many Viltrumites would be an unforgivable crime. Nolan, especially, would likely feel personally betrayed—his empire is weakened, and his son, Mark, has become more distant from the Viltrumite cause, further complicating things. Nolan might see Y/N as a threat not only for what she’s done but also for the influence she has on Mark, who has already distanced himself from his Viltrumite heritage.

As for Mark, his role in the repopulation of the Viltrumites would depend on his views. If the Viltrumites pressured him to help repopulate their race, it would be a moral dilemma for him. He has already rejected many aspects of his heritage, and the idea of being used to sire warriors for a race he no longer believes in would likely disgust him. He might feel the weight of his father’s expectations but would struggle to reconcile that with his own beliefs and love for Y/N. If he were to become involved in repopulating the Viltrumites, it would likely be because of immense pressure.

Ultimately, Mark would probably stay single or look for a partner who would help further the Viltrumite population. His connection with Y/N would likely make it difficult for him to form romantic bonds with anyone else, especially considering the trauma of his past and the complex dynamics with his family.

So, while the Viltrumites might need to repopulate their race to survive, it’s unlikely that Mark would be eager to comply with this demand, especially if it means abandoning his relationship with Y/N. His loyalty to her would probably keep him from considering any kind of “new mate” that would be part of the empire’s goals, and he may ultimately choose to stay single rather than follow through with the Viltrumite plan.

Honestly I agree with you 100%! My whole intention with that story was to make it one part only, but people wanted more— which I was more than happy to do. However I was really running out of ideas and I think that’s what caused the characters and themes of the story to be unrealistic and boring.

I appreciate the feedback because it helps me improve! But yeah I absolutely agree with you, I lot of potential could have went into that story, but I used the wrong themes and that’s what made it bad. Your suggestions for the story are a lot more realistic— especially since (in the show at least) the public still doesn’t know who invincible was, even when some variants didn’t wear masks. Nor would any of the variants be sweet towards her; they are all merciless killers, so if she did actually get taken by them she would most likely be dead.

That’s horrifying—and I love it.

In his mind, it’s not even a question of if she can survive childbirth. If she does, great. If she doesn’t? He’ll just get another one. Because to him, she isn’t just a person. She’s a constant. No matter what universe, what timeline—she exists somewhere. And as long as she exists, he will always have a way to bring her back.

Maybe he even convinces himself that it’s mercy. That she isn’t dying, not really. Because every time she slips away, he just goes and gets her again. Another version, another chance. Another her, waking up in his arms, confused and terrified. And with each cycle, his grip on reality slips further.

Maybe, in the beginning, he mourned. He grieved her. The first time, the second—maybe even the third. But after the fifth? The tenth? The pain dulls. The loss becomes routine. He doesn’t cry anymore. Doesn’t hold her body in anguish.

Because why should he? She’ll be back soon enough. And the worst part? Each version of her remembers nothing. They may share the same face but they don’t share the same mind.
