I post a lot about Rush. I’m also just a general prog nerd (Yes, ELP, Genesis, Kansas).

I’m also going to say whatever I want on here. I had a really bad habit of censoring myself on my last account because I wanted people to take me seriously, and that was just really damaging to my mental health—- especially because it led to me suppressing my breakdowns HARDER.

Also I might reblog non-prog stuff on here too bc I want to try and be involved in different fandoms. So, if you like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia hmu. Also any of these movies: This Is Spinal Tap, Napoleon Dynamite, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Breakfast Club, Beetlejuice (JUST the movie), Midnight Madness (if you even know this movie we’re gonna be besties), or any sort of comedy in those veins. For more dramatic stuff (of which there is very few), I like 2001: A Space Odyssey, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Stand By Me (WATCH IT. formative experience for me as a young teen), and A Clockwork Orange.

I also read tarot cards, I like plants, I like cats, I’m a stoner-in-training, I’m a classically trained vocalist and also a bass player, I’m an audio engineering college student, and I want to get a PhD in musicology so I can study prog for a living. That’s about it.

You guys have literally no idea how happy those Reddit comments made me. Like fucking NONE. Redditors are notoriously hard to convince on anything like that because they view it as sort of parasocial (ironic considering some of the other shit that goes down on r/Rush but I digress), and the fact that the original commenter had two other people AGREEING WITH HIM!!!!!!

Like it sorts of validates that it’s not just me projecting myself onto him. Other people are seeing the same shit—- REDDITORS are seeing it. He’s literally my biggest inspiration as an autistic person and to see that recognized???? Literally made my entire fucking day.
