What kind of magic research requires a pink dress?
Are you practising some sort of 'Ignore-Me' illusion spell and wearing that pink dress in public to prove the spell works?

Funny story about the Pacer Test-
In High School, Dainty was a 'scene girl that drew anime comics during class' kinda kid. I did DDR, ran up and down stairs with heavy books, but I wasn't in any sports. I was 2lbs underweight, but I had some curvature compared to how I am now.
Anyway, one day in gym we were doing the pacer test, and I was curious how long I could hold out against the preps/sporty kids. Turns out, pretty long, because I outpaced everyone, but 1 other girl, who was captain of the girl's soccer team. She was competitive, giving me a nasty stink eye, and I just shrugged it off.
But eventually, I realized this was the last thing we had to do for class. We would have some free time before the bell! I could be lazy! So, I turned and looked at her dead in the eye, and I just said-
Stopped dead in my tracks and simply walked to the bleachers.
Needless to say, Soccer girl was pissed. She wanted to know who was "better" and I took that from her. She would never know if she was better than the random anime kid.
I sucked at the mile, but hoowee, was the Pacer test my jam. I got up pretty high, like...84? We were going head to head for bit. I remember our classmates getting really bored and our teacher was getting impatient, which might be another reason why I stopped, because if I did, everyone could go change??? This was 15ish years ago, I just vividly remember what I said and how the girl reacted //wheeze

HAHA, I'M IN DANGER.
I stopped interacting with her for the sake of her mental health since my presence caused her massive dysmorphia. She kept comparing her body to mine, demeaning herself, & then she started to starve herself trying to look like me. She passed out, hit her head, & went to the hospital.
It was just not a healthy dynamic for her. I still check in, but I try not to see her in-person so I don't trigger an episode like that again.
Please don't beat yourself up if you don't look a certain way and know that changes are not instantaneous. It will take time, so make sure you give your body grace. Gotta take care of yourself first and foremost.
