just to quickly defend the use of johnny's inferno in this; i know its a super common character playlist song to the point of losing a lot of its meaning but my specific vision with it here is to contrast it with a cover of this song thats in louie's playlist (which i can send here too if you want it) that reframes hell as not that bad, in fact, pretty pleasant all things considered.

Hello! I'm very sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by continuation. If you'd like to see the story of that particular AU or something then I'm sorry to disappoint but I haven't had any ideas beyond the basic concepts shown in the original post. So I wouldn't have anything else to show about it
BUT if you or anyone else has any requests in relation to the AU then I'm very open to hearing them and potentially drawing them!
For the Human/Bready AU, the disguise as “a Breadhead” kind of imply that the original Breadhead we know existed at one point before he got mass-produced? (lol) How’s he kicking?
okay so i was GOING to write a whole super long elaborate answer with insight into the smiling dead themselves in this AU since as i mentioned theyre way more powerful and influential and that also means it's a way bigger group now, most notably every member has a personal yeast golem body guard in this AU. but believe it or not it was making designs for the Canon Characters in this AU that completely stumped me. i cannot for the life of me think of ways to change Mud and Ken's designs in a satisfying way. and then i lost the tgd fixation to boot. HELLISH!!!!!
But to get back to the actual question at hand, there is a character who's pretty much the breadhead from the show. He's Ken's closest body guard and right hand man. And he's old as fuck
I built up tons of headcanons for Yeast Golems that I might just dump in a text post on this blog if anyone's interested in hearing em, but the relevant part here is that the Breadhead types of Yeast Golems count their age not in years but in how many slices their heads are made of. They're created as a full loaf, become adults when the first slice in the face is cut off and just keep track from then on. it's sort of like the inverse of how trees age lmao
so this old breadhead has been assigned to train Bready in combat, teach him some of the "family secrets" as it were. and the only reason he can't immediately recognise this as a human with a headpiece and big gloves is because he's nearly blind. Ken should've looked into hiring a new Bread Head bodyguard decades ago at this point but you know how he gets attached
i saw genderswaps of olimar and louie a while ago that pissed me off with how hard they went into the hyperfem territory so i wanted to try my own hand at designing girl versions of em. plus the girlboss herself, who Would go pretty hyperfem i believe.
funnily enough the hardest part was settling on names for them, especially Umari but i eventually got it by copying the japanese naming schemes but with girl mario bros names
every now and then a few relics from the old world wind up in the gaslight district, usually brought back and put up for sale by deep sea divers. Older Rotlings can get pretty nostalic about it too, allthough memories tend to get fuzzy after several millenia

Had a very fun story idea for the human Ken AU from this post. Largely inspired by the AU where Mud becomes a high ranking guard in Paradise Lost. He's got a similar job in this AU, but moreso has to take care of outside jobs, so that the guards don't need to leave PL too often.
And his most recent task is to collect the Human with black blood, so that the Virtues may help him in bringing about the end of all Rotlings. And while yes, he does play along initially, Mud very quickly decides that he's not going to help his beloathed employers bring about the end of their world and of his beloved immortality.
After winning Ken's trust (shockingly easily, might I add, that man is far too trusting) and while journeying towards Paradise Lost on foot, Mud plans out several ways to kill Ken, but Breadhead can see through his façade and puts a violent stop to it every time. Trying to convince him that this is "for the greater good" doesn't seem to be working either, but Mud isn't sure why he expected a Yeast Golem to be rational like him
It's going to be a long and arduous journey, with a rock paper scissors ass dynamic
