I went with Russian fashion for him for this look, as he is meant to be representing his house here, and he is also about to leave for the North so he’s really embracing his roots as opposed to the Southern style he had started to adopted. Additionally, he has a raven signet ring for his house as well.

The dress is from the best tailor of Essos, commissioned by Rhaenyra, the jewels are a gift from Jace for giving him a child, and the hair (inspired by the gorgeous hair of spanish falleras in valencia) is made by several braids and supported by various metal accesories, and the tiara is a gift from daemon for her wedding

However, Rodrick is definitely the type of character to get far more love than hate, and I can imagine now all of the fanfictions and fanart that would be made for him. He is the perfect β€œx reader” fic character. But also, I can imagine so many people saying β€œthat’s my son” and stuff like that lol.

Honestly, how could anyone not love my boy Rodrick?
