Omg like i could yap forever about these past few weeks but basically one of my friends (my now gf kinda but its like unlabeled but we’re dating) had a really big hockey game like early February and she started texting me pretty consistently leading up to the game which was super weird for her like she doesn’t text anyone who in our friend circle really regularly and she invited me to watch the hockey game and i was like ok girl sure

and like i hate hockey, i figure skate and I’ll always be biased towards figure skating but she was so determined to make me like hockey and i thought she was cute so i was just going to let her yap, and then i went to the game and she won (!!!!) and then we had like a ski trip in the friend group and stuck with me the whole day even when our friends went on different runs (i ski a lot and my friends don’t so i wanted to go on harder trails and she went down harder trails for me SCREAMING)

and then we just kept on texting until it was Valentine’s Day and we had galentines day at her place and she ‘forgot’ her blanked when we were all sleeping over and laid down next to me and i was like ‘oh we can share mine 🤭’ (it was her house like bffr) and then we literally cuddled all night!!!!

and then she had a huge hockey tournament and said she was going to win the games for me and they won the whole thing (SCREAMING AGAIN)

and then also was sending me screenshots of The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t A Guy At All and saying ‘us core’ and when I had orchestra rehearsals until like 9:00pm after classes she would tell me to come over when i was complaining

but she’s lowkey a little pussy and was too scared to ask me out so i did what any good fem would do and asked her out first! And this all took place over the course of like a month and 15 days!
