I would like to share with you a video by two people that I've gotten to know over the last couple of months. Hadeel and Abed (@twogazans) are two young people who are engaged and want nothing more than to get married and restore their business.

They have been sharing their life in Gaza on Youtube and I recommend you check them out, but please watch the video below first. It was filmed about a month ago when the ceasefire deal was first announced. They share their thoughts and feelings, their hopes and dreams, their desire for safety and freedom, for the small things, as well as their fears for what they will find and experience, the people they have lost, the experiences and memories they have to reckon with.

It is both wonderful to see their faces light up, as well as sobering to hear them speak about their losses.

They speak in Arabic, but you can put on automated closed captions, which will either immediately auto-translate to your own language, or create automated Arabic closed captions, which you can then ask to be auto-translated in the settings menu. It's not perfect, but it definitely gets the message across.

At the end of the video they ask us not to forget them, the people in Gaza. Do not forget to provide moral and financial support as they try to rebuild their lives as well as their homes.

Hadeel and Abed also have a fundraiser of their own, which they've had to restart recently because they had to find someone who would be able to host the fundraiser for them. Luckily, they were able to find someone in the US who could do so.

Hadeel and Abed have been verified by @gazavetters! They are #324 on their spreadsheet, which you can find linked in their pinned post.

The spreadsheet still links to their old fundraiser, which is now closed down. However, if you go to old posts by @twogazans, you will find that old fundraiser still linked, such as for example in this post. You can compare that link to the one in the gazavetters spreadsheet and you will see it is the same one.

Because they have recently had to restart their fundraiser, they are still very low on funds! Only $262 has been raised and the last donation was over two weeks ago!

If you are able to donate, then please do, and please share this post so others who might be able to donate might see it.

You Can Help Hammad Save His Family🍉‼️🫶🏻

VETTED BY ASSOCIATION; Hammad was referred to me through Safaa and her campaign (vetted by 90-ghost)

This campaign is created on behalf of a very valuable and dear friend of mine, Hammad A., who is dealing with devastating tragedy and loss that none of us in the empirical core could possibly begin to imagine.

Hammad is one of the most thoughtful, considerate, and hard-working people I know -- and while he has tried his best to provide for his family under these immensely difficult circumstances, he now needs our help to keep him and his family alive.

Picture this: Your life has been turned upside down instantly; everything you have worked your whole life for -- gone in an instant. Everything you once knew turned to rubble and destruction. Your home, where you grew up and created childhood memories with -- gone. Your job, where you dedicated your energy and effort into building a career you loved -- gone. The most basic necessities we take for granted -- warmth, fresh air, the ability to move around freely and safely -- ripped away from you.

These are only a few of the difficulties that Hammad and his family have been facing for over 464 days.

As you understand by now, there is only so much resilience the human body can endure, and the urgent need to do anything you can to save your family is the exact reason Hammad has allowed us the opportunity to help him and his family be freed from the immense suffering and stress they currently face.

His tent was recently flooded, damaging the little items that he had after losing everything, and destroying the little shelter he and his family had to protect them against the harsh elements.

Hammad needs your help NOW.

Even the smallest amount is so highly valuable in lifting a margin of stress from the weight of this tragedy off the shoulders of Hammad and his family. Your contributions to these lifesaving funds are invaluable.

Chuffed has a waiting period for processing and transferring funds. If you want your donation to IMMEDIATELY be sent to Hammad, paypal is linked below.

‼️ Hammad’s tent was destroyed in the harsh weather ‼️

You can INSTANTLY HELP and provide Hammad with a tent to shelter his family.

HAMMAD FACES SERIOUS DANGER BEING EXPOSED TO THE HARSH ELEMENTS. ‼️ THESE FUNDS ARE LIFESAVING AND CRUCIALLY NEEDED ‼️

Donate what you can TODAY

‼️ THE LAST DONATION WAS A DAY AGO ‼️

THIS CAMPAIGN IS INCREDIBLY URGENT AND NEEDS FUNDS NOW BECAUSE HAMMAD’S TENT, THE ONLY THING PROTECTING HIM & HIS FAMILY FROM THE FREEZING COLD AND RAIN, IS DESTROYED.

I AM TALKING TO YOU. PLEASE. DONATE WHAT YOU CAN. IF EVERYBODY WHO REBLOGGED CHIPPED IN $1, WE’D BE AT 3k.

TOGETHER WE CAN COMPLETE THE GOAL.

‼️ 421 / 20,000 ‼️

"My family and I live in Gaza under danger and fire, we have been displaced from our homes in Khaniunis, and we are currently living in tents in the Al-Mawasi area. Our tents have become damaged by the heat of the sun. We need new tents that protect us from rain and cold water. Please help even a little we need 1000$ to buy new tent🙏🏼🙏🏼"-Asmaa

Please donate to Asmaa to help their family. They used to have a house, but it was destroyed by the war in Gaza. Now they have to try to survive the cold weather of Gaza using a tent. So please, please donate to them either through their GFM campaign or their PayPal. -4nolee444

Six months ago I signed up for a mental health course at the library on 'letting go'. I was just coming above water from what seemed like a boundless ocean of depression. This was a pretty big commitment compared to how I had been surviving the months before.

They were also pretty strict in the description of the course. If you sign up, it said, you had to attend all sessions. Not that there were any consequences to not showing up, I guess. There was no exam, no fee, nothing like that. But the dates were known, so it's not like you couldn't, bar unexpected circumstances, determine beforehand whether you would be able to attend or not.

I took this pretty seriously. There were maybe six sessions in the autumn and one in the spring, a session to sort of come back after a few months and evaluate whether you had been able to put into practice what had been discussed. At first I wasn't certain I would be able to attend the last one, because in March is when I have a yearly family gathering, but I figured out pretty quickly they wouldn't, in fact, happen on the same Sunday. So I signed up.

It was on Sunday mornings. Not easy to get out of bed for me, someone who struggles enough with that on weekdays already. There were maybe fifteen other people in the course. There was a sign-up sheet and I was able to check my box for every single session.

It was clear at the second session that quite a few of us were missing. Odd. Then a few sessions later, I sat next to a woman who hadn't been able to attend the week before because she was on holiday. Apparently other people hadn't taken the rules quite as seriously as I had.

Today was the last session, a few months since the last one in December. A difficult day, perhaps, for some people to attend on time, what with the clocks moving forward. I certainly hadn't slept enough, that's for sure. I ended up napping all afternoon, which is a very rare occurrence.

And there were five of us.

Are other people really just interpreting the rules differently than I am? Or did they just not see them?

This is a verified fundraiser! This family was vetted by @gazavetters and is #22 on their spreadsheet.

The fundraiser linked on their spreadsheet is different from the one in this post, though. This new fundraiser explains why a new fundraiser was created, which I will quote:

I am Erin/Razz, an American citizen living on the Alabama Gulf Coast, and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Ali Jendia and his family. Ali requested I make this fundraiser to help his family of nine people since previous attempts to raise funding have gone very slowly due to confusion over currency conversion rates.

The new fundraiser links to the old one, and you can see the old fundraiser, the one linked on the gazavetters spreadsheet, linked in the post above as well. The purple link goes to a post by OP with the old fundraiser. So, same family, new fundraiser.

This family has been campaigning for months, but has had little success. On both fundraisers, the donations have been extremely slow. We can change that!

If you're able to donate, please make sure you donate to the new fundraiser, which I will link again below. It is in US dollars and is titled "Support Ali Jendia's Family in Crisis". Thank you!

The Israeli Zionist occupation violated the ceasefire and launched airstrikes on populated areas. Rocket shrapnel hit our tent today, injuring my wife and two of my children. The truce has ended, and we are once again living in fear of war, killing, and death. Unfortunately, no one cares about what's happening to us. Israel has been committing a massacre since yesterday morning, claiming the lives of more than 500 people.

Israel continues the massacres in Gaza… We are dying before your eyes—please, don’t leave us alone! Save us, do something… protest, donate, participate. We don’t want to die ! Please donate so we can get out of here and live in peace.

🚨 A Voice from Gaza: Please Hear Us 🚨

My name is Mona Shehab, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has become an unimaginable struggle. Our days are filled with uncertainty, and the hope for a better future feels like a distant dream.

The road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.

Life in Gaza Today: 💔 Overwhelming Loss: The pain of losing so many family members is impossible to describe. 🍽️ Barely Getting By: Even basic necessities like food and water are becoming harder to afford. 🏠 No Safe Shelter: Our homes, once our refuge, now feel fragile and unsafe. 📚 Dreams on Hold: The pursuit of education and opportunities has been replaced by the constant fight for survival.

What We Need: In these desperate times, even a small gesture can mean so much. A $5 donation could provide us with food or water for a day. If you can’t donate, simply sharing our story could help us reach someone who can.

Your Support Gives Us Hope: This isn’t just about financial help—it’s about knowing that someone, somewhere, cares. Your kindness can be a source of strength for us, a reminder that we’re not alone in this fight

How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:

  • $5 might not seem like much, but it could mean a meal, clean water, or a tiny bit of hope for my family.
  • Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.

I’m not asking for much—just a little hope, a little relief, and a chance to keep moving forward. Your generosity, in any form, can make a difference in ways you might not even imagine.

Thank you for taking the time to hear my story. Your kindness means more than words can express.

With heartfelt gratitude, Mona ❤️

Ahmed, his wife, and their two young sons will be evicted from their home unless they can come up with $220 by tomorrow (Sunday, March 30)

This campaign is vetted by association with Ahmed's brother-in-law, ma7moudgaza2, who has been verified by el-shab-hussein (one of creators of the Vetted Gaza Evacuation Fundraiser List - Google Drive). I am personally running this campaign, so you can be sure that 100% of your donation will go directly to this family.

If for any reason you can't donate to the chuffed campaign, you can give via venmo (@gothhabiba) or cashapp ($NajiaK) with note "🍊" or "orange."

$0 / $220

I wasn't going to visit the zero waste store today. I'm not in need of anything. But as I was cycling home from a self-defence course and practically passing by, I thought, let's just see what pastries they have today. Doesn't hurt, right?

There were still many of them left.

The person behind the till today was the same one as Wednesday.

"I'll be honest," I said, "I was kind of hoping there would be more of the savoury croissants."

"They were amazing, right?!" she replied. "I took them home like you suggested."

"So good! I was sad I didn't get two of them!" I exclaim. "One bite and I was gone."

She asked her colleague if more of them would be delivered in the future, but she didn't know. We might need to put in a request with the owner.

And oh, I will next time I see her.

I am legitimately so fucking sick of how normalized it is to sexually harass intersex people.

Look at this shit

The fucking like ratio. Why. Is it funny? Do people find it funny when we get sexually harassed? I've gotten this question a good 8 times.

This shit is so common

Perisex people find out we exist and they treat us like we only exist as sexual objects for them

It's so common that intersex teens online need to add disclaimers like this to their posts discussing being intersex, I've seen so many disclaimers similar to this on here as well as tik tok.

It just makes me so unbelievably sad that people do not respect us. They just don't. We're sexual objects or deformed freaks to most perisex people. It makes me so sad that we can't even talk about our lives online without being seen as walking fetish material.

And this happens irl as much as it happens online. In college settings, at queer bars, in queer spaces.
