thank you v much! regarding commissions, i have done a lot for patrons (with any remaining slots going public here/on other social media) but unfortunately im quite burnt out on them! my relationship with client work tends to be a Little fraught, and the ideal situation for me would be making enough of a steady income via patreon to be able to just offer free art when ive got the energy+motivation
sdfhjfs all that to say, i may offer comms (first for patrons) if i need to cover specific bills/taxes/if im in trouble with rent, but they are not currently on any kind of schedule - apologies

If youre worried about having to use an honor system, perhaps you could make a mini summary that touches on the basics of how to draw hair. Could do a small bare bones thing by itself, or take the main points from the bigger lessons and smash them into a little thing.
Kind of like having a small sample sized lesson. Could be a pay what you want/what you can.
Teaching and sharing your skills/experience/knowledge is a big thing. I hope you'll feel confident to charge a worthy price for the full-course deal
Of course, this is one persons perspective/idea. As a very low income person myself, I would rather have a tiny portion and not feel guilty by not paying you what your experience is worth. But also I'm very interested in your insight

ty so much for the input! i got another suggestion to do some sort of pared down PWYC version, but it does frustrate me when people always have to settle for less because they cant afford smthn - ik thats the capitalist economy but if i can i'd like to inject socialism in the way i do things 🤔
rather than feeling guilt for not paying me, think of it like this: everyone else who can comfortably afford the course contributes to your placement (as they should, in service of equity) especially because the workshops will be in a small group, it is no great burden to me at all to include 1 more person who deserves the opportunity if they want it
re: the honour system, i realise it can be taken advantage of but also id like to trust people as well!
