Hello everyone,
I normally don’t share private things on here at all but I’m just going to post this in case I get any messages etc.
Today my dad was diagnosed with leukaemia. We are not sure how bad it is yet as he has to go in to get a sample of bone marrow taken to determine if it is acute or chronic.
Due to this I don’t know if I will be doing any writing for the near future. I’ll still be lingering around to talk, answer asks and chat to my mutuals and reblog some stuff etc but writing for me right now is just basically impossible.
I am still working out what to feel as this news has been quite a lot to take in today and I do often struggle expressing emotions freely. I most likely won’t do any updates on this as I don’t like sharing things too personal. I’m only stating this to let people know why I will most likely be absent from writing for a while.

Small update:
My dad has chronic myeloid leukemia. Obviously it is shit that he has cancer but the knot that has been in my stomach has gone.

I think over the last few days, this blog and talking to some of my mutuals, reading some fics etc. has been a distraction and has helped me stop thinking about things for a few hours.
I’ve even come up with some ideas for fics. Not sure when I will get around to writing them but my creative side has slowly been ignited again.
