Exactly one year ago (July 15th 2024) the world was blessed with the most goated guy in all of fiction (and reality if you ask me).
Sylus is a Magnum Opus. An art piece who was created by a team that love him dearly. You can tell as much by every single card and story update. Every frame of animation. By every line of dialogue, both the way it's written and acted.
And he is so so beloved by his kittens. We bless his existence each and every day, and we celebrate the days of his birth and of his introduction.
I myself have liked many fictional characters in my life (the list of hyperfixations is long lol) but honestly Sylus has taken the throne in my heart and will probably remain there forever.
Sylus is my Roman Empire. I think about him at least [insert double digit] a day. He brings me so much joy and comfort in a way no other character ever has. He once brought me out of a very dark place and has since made such an incredibly positive impact on my life. I will always love him and be grateful for that.
So thank you Sylus' creative team, for crafting this wonderful character with an inner beauty that matches his outer one. And thank you Sylus' VA for always knocking it out of the park with your lines, for bringing Sylus to life in a way only you ever could
Thank you to each and every fan that is celebrating Sylus not only today but every day, in a variety of differing ways and sharing it with all of us
And lastly thank you Sylus for being the man that you are. For raising the bar with everything you do, and being a beacon of healthy and positive masculinity. I could keep listing great things endlessly but I already have three dedicated posts doing that, so I'll simply link them instead ❤️ I love you, Lil S.
(Oh and fuck Paperfold for still remaining silent re: Sylus' missing content a year into his release. I have lost pretty much all hope tbh, but I will never not be upset about the blatant disrespect shown not only to us fans but to the character himself and to his team)

damn you sylus i had at least 2 hours of hand pain and i'm still late but regardless happy debut anniversary! i don't even remember how i got into lads but sylus was definitely one of the characters that grabbed my attention and still does, like honestly he pisses me off sometimes but he's also just so interesting??? ok but despite all the pain and suffering i went through i've never had so much fun doing an original (ish) piece in so long, i also genuinely love this a lot i don't care if it flops

oh and one more thing the mc's design is based on the one from the cheeb comics, i don't really have my own design for her nor do i see myself as her (especially because i don't actually have the game i watch story playthroughs on youtube lol)
