Thinking about how Despy has always had a black and white mask (sometimes black and gold for those really important matches). For his whole feud with Hiromu, he had the black and white mask. It wasn't until WrestleKingdom 18 during his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship that we saw the debut of the red mask. Red, which has famously been Hiromu's color. Not to mention, this didn't happen during (what I would call) the peak of their feud, to mock Hiromu or otherwise get into his head. I like to think that it shows how Hiromu has affected Despy. In Suzuki-Gun, he was disrespected and unable to be himself, but his feud with Hiromu almost revitalized him in a way. Color had been added to his life, one that wasn't there before.
