It would be interesting if when cDream escaped prison, he mockingly told cTommy who had set off the TNT outside the prison, hoping that little tidbit of information would finally break down the last of his relationships.

And cTommy KNOWS it wasn’t cRanboo’s fault. That they had been manipulated and hurt by cDream just like cTommy was. He tried not to hold it against them, and felt disgust in himself whenever he felt anger at them.

No, it wasn’t cRanboo’s fault. But that didn’t mean it stopped cTommy from flinching every time they touched him, or the full blown panic attacks he would get when they were alone.

And, so, the days they spent together now became cTommy curled in the corner as far away as cRanboo as possible, shaking and sobbing, and cRanboo sitting a few feet away with their own tears burning their face because they have no idea how to help their friend who is suddenly so scared of them.

Father-son sandduo but like. Swapped.

UHG i cant WORD IT RIGHT but theres A VIBE THERES A VIBE, ITS OLD AND SEASONED ADVENTURER!WILBUR TRYING TO CARE FOR NEW ADVENTURER!PHIL WHO KEEPS RUNNING LIKE HES RUNNING OUT OF TIME

Ok my phone is no longer trying to die let me cook uhhhh Wilbur being a somewhat-retired traveling bard who’s met and sang to practically half the continent. Hes made enemies and friends all over, and now intends to settle down and rest, except he keeps running into Phil, who is the epitome of a new, bright-eyed adventurer, but he’s also got a worrying sort of thirst for chaos in those same blue eyes.

Wil, on impulse, offers his newly bought home as a place for Phil to return to, just for peace of mind

Phil then returns the next night, with a gaping stab wound in his side.

Wil patches him up (while only slightly panicking and screaming) with the heavy knowledge of recognizing what sort of person Phil is. He’s sang a dozen songs about these sorts of adventurers, bright burning stars who fade out too quickly in their rush to become something great. Phil will burn the brightest anyone has ever seen, surely. But he will burn himself out far too quickly.

So wil decides the next morning to stick with the kid, just until that wild, trouble-finding energy fades out. (Spoiler alert: it never does. Phil adapts a calm demeanor to mimic wil, but that chaos in his eyes just never seems to leave)
