you shouldn’t feel threatened by reminders to consider other people in your creative works and maybe we wouldn’t have to “get mad” at your depictions of people of color and black people if you actually listened to us when we speak about these things

i think many of us aren’t even trying to push you to go ahead and write about poc off the bat, we’re simply asking you to approach us within fandom spaces with respect…and your work should reflect that…because many of you act like that’s just killing you to do

inclusivity is not hard, we have had to be inclusive to a very white standard in writing, art, fandom, and all media and it should not be a topic we have to tiptoe around, hope that helps!
