Heyo the name’s Hazar! | he/him

This is a Castiel blog but due to my inability to keep things organized, there’s a number of other things mixed in. For example, fiber arts and all that jazz.

Please let me know if you want anything tagged. Especially profanity. That said if you make shit, please tag me! I want to see it!

Now for the reason that this is a post instead of a header. Terfs: please fuck all the way off. Yep, keep fucking off. If you can still read this, I'm afraid you haven't fucked off enough. Cheers!

adults disciplining children: i think i will communicate with this brand new human in the loudest, rudest, most obnoxious and socially off-putting way possible

adults disciplining children: i think i will behave in ways that are completely, radically unacceptable in literally any other scenario

adults disciplining children: welcome to earth! for the next ten years i will treat you in ways that i would not dare treat any other person. i do not treat other people this way because i know it is bad and wrong. hope you understand.

adults disciplining children: oh and btw you're legally my property so have fun getting anyone to listen to you if you don't like the way I treat you. oh what's this I'm being investigated by CPS? what about my parental rights?!???

@bamf-castiel this reminds me of you

"Look, as much as you ER cowboys are a pain in my ass, What you and your department did here tonight was nothing short of miraculous. People need to know that. Take the win."

I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."

like so many people grew up reading voraciously and struggle to do so as adults. but it's all about training your brain and exercising that muscle. feel like you can't read? sit down with a book for 10-20 minutes and try. look at the cover. flip through the pages. exercise your curiosity muscle. see how it feels to spend a few minutes doing nothing but spending time with a book.

reading is rewarding in a vastly different way from the quick dopamine hits our phones train us to crave. but if you pause and actually give yourself the time to do it, to remember the way it feels, giving yourself the time and space to really sink into it, you might be surprised by how possible it suddenly feels.

reading in adulthood is different because you have to make time for it. it doesn't just happen. but when you make the time and let your attention span adjust, it feels great.
