video games should let you throw all the items you saved up so far into some big awful soup that defeats the final boss in one hit
Funnily enough, almost this exact thing happened in a dnd campaign I was in. There was a running joke in the previous campaign where we kept putting various, sometimes and quite frequently horrible liquids into the head (which is a jack o lantern) of our ranger and we dubbed the liquid inside the Jungle Juice. After that campaign ended, our dm said the next one would be the same setting but post apocalyptic and towards the end of it (when we decided we had to kill Mystra (wizards try to steal her power and caused the mess in the first place and she erased all prior memory of herself) because the sun itself disappeared and we needed to sort that out. Before we got to the fight, the same character with the jack o lantern head (now a sack of grain with a face drawn on it instead) kept some of the Jungle Juice, which he gave to us. When the final fight actually comes it's this really climactic three on one where each of us got to take out one phase of the fight and when we reach the third and final phase one of us decides to take out the Jungle Juice and use it as a sort of grenade, and after a lot of excited chatter and dice rolling, with all the horrible things that composed the Jungle Juice, using it as a grenade managed to oneshot her final phase, ending the last fight in the stupidest and most fitting way possible.
can confirm, was the ranger

option 1: monk becomes the cycles favourite and lives forever (or until it meets the saint)
or 2: out of timeline shenanigans

Hemi-Kerma Monitering The result of a great arcane mishap. The entire area being blown away and reduced to an irradiated reef. Engineers from Mechus Avil have come from far underground to dig for a strange neon green mineral that has sprung up here; as well as bandits coming to inhabit the now lawless zone. Legends tell of an immortal man locked deep within a bunker, under the shadow of the looming machine that tears the world asunder.
my characters and my stories are my heart..
No, Nuzi did not just destroy the show.
I hate it when people say "Murder Drones is now just ship focused" because they think that Nuzi being subtly not-so subtly confirmed means that the show will completely forget about it's lore.
They are treating episode 6 like it was only about NxUzi. Like, did we even see the same episode?
In this episode, we also got moments like:
- Tessa being insanely suspicious
- Live footage of what the absolute solver did to earth
- More information on the absolute solver
- More insights into Uzi's mother and her involvement with the solver
- V's development
- Uzi's current condition with the solver and possibly becoming the new main host for it.
WHICH THAT LAST POINT IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT ASPECT
Because guess what? Nuzi being a thing HAS STORY IMPLICATIONS not just "oh cuties now together- so happy ^w^ fluffy moments :3"
NAH, THIS IS GONNA FUCK N OVER.
Tessa said it herself. It's either the universe OR UZI. And N being involved with her now IS NOT GONNA HELP.
N is going to go through some serious emotional rollercoaster BECAUSE:
- He got together with Uzi, had a cute hand holding moment BUT THEN
- He had to cut her hand off BUT as we and HE knows, that did not get rid of the solver
- Possibly lost V, which we obviously saw him in distraught
- Will possibly have to fight his only human friend, Tessa, in order to protect Uzi
- AND WILL POSSIBLY EVEN HAVE TO FIGHT UZI if Uzi gets 100% under the solver's control.
Again, Nuzi being a thing has story implications, especially for N's development and the complicated decisions he'll have to make to save Uzi or the universe.
And now with an even deeper bond with Uzi, yeah, things will be rough for him.
And make things complicated for Tessa as well. It's possibly why she doesn't want Uzi to end up with N, as she knows N will probably defend Uzi and TESSA HAS A SOFT SPOT FOR N so I bet her fighting N will not be an easy choice either.
SO YEAH EVERYONE CAN SHUT UP Nuzi isn't just 'to please the shippers' it literally takes a role on the emotional aspect of the story and it's future conflicts.
The scene where N and Uzi are walking down the hallway just gets me every time. Out of embarrassment, Uzi nudges N away, only for both of them to immediately grab on to each other again, this time even tighter. They needed one another; both of them were scared, and so naturally, they wanted to hold on tightly so they both knew that the other was still there.
one of my favourite things the new murder drone episode does is this here, where Tessa stares down people, often not saying anything either. It feels so intimidating since she has no visible face, which means we have no idea what she’s thinking or feeling + the church bell dong in the background just slows down the whole scene to a crawl and makes it more uncomfortable.
this episode was SO GOOD
